Best Act 3 Rosary Farm in Silksong

Surprisingly, getting Rosary upgrades actually gets tougher in Act 3 of *Hollow Knight: Silksong* than it was in Act 2. The enemy layout changes, and the area that was best for farming Rosaries in Act 2 – right west of the First Shrine bench – is no longer available.

While no location in Act 3 quite matches the profitability of this one, there are a few other good farming spots that don’t require much effort or investment. The most rewarding of these is described below.

Best Rosary Farming Location in Act 3 of Silksong

The most efficient place to collect resources in Act 3 of *Silksong* is in the upper-left area of the Choral Chambers, right below the entrance to the High Halls, near the bench.

If you defeat the three pilgrims patrolling the room east of here while wearing the Thief’s Mark, you’ll get 67 Rosaries. This takes about 20 seconds each time, which means you can collect around 200 Rosaries every minute, or 12,000 per hour.

Act 3 Rosary Farming Strategy

Because the enemies are clustered together, you can defeat them rapidly. We’ve discovered the fastest way to do this, and it’s explained below.

Start from the bench and quickly dash to the right to enter the enemy room. Get close and immediately use your Silkspear to instantly defeat the first two enemies and heavily damage the third. Dash right again while performing a running attack with Hornet’s Needle, launching you into the air. Follow this up with a downward slash to finish off the last enemy. Then, return to the bench and repeat this process.

I did my testing with the Needle fully upgraded, so my results should be pretty accurate. If you’re using an older version, just keep in mind your experience might be a little different.

If you’re using the Egg of Flealia, hitting enemies twice with the Wanderer Crest will give you back enough Silk to cover the cost of your first Silkspear. This creates a loop where you quickly regain the resources you use.

The Cogfly Tool isn’t essential for this attempt, but it’s helpful to have as a spare option just in case something goes wrong. Although the Wanderer deals more damage with Silk Skills, it lacks Yellow slots. Plus, since you can’t defeat the third enemy in one hit even with the Shaman Crest, you’ll still need to use your Needle, and the Wanderer performs that task more effectively.
