Over the course of nine generations of the Pokemon franchise, the series creator Game Freak has consistently expanded the series by introducing fresh gameplay elements. For instance, Mega Evolutions, a new take on traditional Pokemon abilities, were first seen in the games Pokemon X and Y. Although Deoxys isn’t usually the best in terms of most statistical categories, it consistently ranks among the top ten for each stat type. Additionally, it holds the title of the fastest Pokémon in the franchise when assuming its Speed Forme, surpassing the swift Pheromosa. Moreover, it boasts the highest Special Attack and Special Defense stats among any extraterrestrial Pokémon.

Despite being slightly outshone by these three, Stakataka still stands as a beneficial addition for players due to its decent attack, combined rock/steel typing, and above-average defense stat.
