As a seasoned gamer and long-time fan of first-person shooter games, I’ve had the pleasure of trying out various characters in Concord. Let me tell you, each one brings a unique flavor to the battlefield!
In Concord, every character boasts distinct skills and armaments, catering to various gaming approaches. However, among the Freegunners, certain ones stand out due to their versatility and effectiveness in diverse scenarios, earning them top spots in the game.
So, here’s our Concord character tier list, which ranks them from best to worst.
Concord character tier list

A | Teo (Ranger), Daw (Tactician), Haymar (Warden), Kyps (Tactician), Star Child (Breacher) |

C | 1-Off (Anchor), Daveers (Breacher), Lark (Tactician) |
In the Concord game, a grand total of 16 characters are present. Our carefully crafted tier list evaluates and orders these characters based on three key factors: their individual abilities, the power of their weapons, and how user-friendly they are for players.
Best character in Concord
I’m absolutely in love with It-Z from Concord. Her ability to move around swiftly and use decoy drones makes it challenging for opponents to get a bead on me. And let me tell you, her Submachine Gun packs a punch! The real game-changer, though, is when I activate her Scramble Rebound skill, supercharging each bullet with an electric charge that leaves enemies reeling. It’s pure exhilaration every time I use it!
Tiers explained
- S: The best characters to pick in the game
- A: Top characters that are worth using
- B: Characters that are only good in certain situations
- C: Least effective characters that are only good in coordinated teams
Best Concord characters explained
Lark
In the race’s bottom position, we find Lark, who thrives less than others without a robust team support. Lark’s strategy revolves around setting traps and covering maps with spores for damage resistance. However, facing DPS monsters further up the rankings proves challenging for them in inflicting significant damage.
Daveers
Playing Daveers presents a challenge because his role primarily involves setting up burnite pools to manage crowds and create explosions. He excels in objectives-focused matches, yet his effectiveness is diminished when opponents can easily dodge the pools due to their mobility.
1-Off
1-Off is an Anchor who’s not easy to play in comparison to Emari. His kit is based around deflecting projectiles and taking damage for his team. You can do big damage with the Trash Bomb ability, but you’ll need to fill your vacuum first, making him less efficient.
Vale
As a dedicated fan of Concord’s game, I can tell you that playing as Vale, the Sniper character, comes with its own unique challenges. Her expertise isn’t instantly graspable, and it takes time to truly master her abilities. Moreover, her Sniper weapon, though powerful, isn’t the most effective option out there. After each shot, you must meticulously reload, and even then, enemies with full health won’t succumb with a single bullet.
I’ve played my fair share of first-person shooter games, and let me tell you, her Trip Mine ability is something else. It packs a punch and can really turn the tide of a battle if used correctly. And the more consistent you are with those headshots, the better she gets with her rifle, enabling you to fire off shots even quicker. Pair that with her Leap ability, and you’ve got some truly epic moments in store. Trust me, I’ve been there!
Jabail
As a gamer, I’d describe Jabail like this: I come across Jabail, a Ranger with a user-friendly setup but not so great when it comes to dealing damage. His kit includes the Life Pulse ability to heal myself and my squad, as well as the Hunter Orb for inflicting harm. However, since he’s not particularly mobile, I need to keep my distance from the heat of the battle. Jabail’s only mobility feature is a Triple Jump.
Duchess
The Duchess is a multifaceted character with depth, calling for careful consideration. Her “Construct Wall” skill proves invaluable for managing crowds and excels in specific maps and game modes.
The BA02 Submachine Gun boasts impressive firepower at short distances due to its Ranger Crew Bonus, which minimizes recoil. However, similar to Jabail, it faces challenges against characters who deal high damage and performs best when working in coordination with teammates.
Bazz
Using Bazz in the game adds excitement: her role is stealthy and involves engaging enemies closely.
With her potent Throwing Knives and Lunging Strike in close combat, she inflicts substantial harm. However, since she needs to be very near to perform at her best, this vulnerability makes her challenging to employ effectively and exposes her as an easy mark if confronted with danger.
Star Child
The Breacher is quite a character, always ready for a fight. Star Child, on the other hand, thrives in the midst of chaos and can be considered a durable unit. His powers recharge through kills, and his abilities are centered around taking down enemies. Use the Rage Rush to charge forward with his robust skin as protection, followed by unleashing the Power Slam to pulverize them.
Star Child carries a shotgun as well, dealing significant damage up close. In essence, his collection of abilities is designed for engaging enemies head-on, making him an ideal choice for players who thrive on being in the thick of the action.
Kyps
As a fan, I’d describe Kyps as a sneaky assassin who can turn invisible right after dodging an attack. Inflicting damage on adversaries while being cloaked resets my dodge, enabling me to vanish once again. If I manage to keep this up and stay hidden, Kyps is an exceptional choice for stealthy takedowns.
Haymar
As a gamer, I play Haymar, the Warden who wields a Flame Shot Bow. Dealing massive damage is her specialty with this weapon. To get around the battlefield effectively, I depend heavily on my Hover and Air Dodge abilities. These moves allow me to traverse the map from above, which is crucial for this character. However, being in the air exposes a significant vulnerability – I become an easy target when up there.
Having spent countless hours honing my archery skills and experimenting with different abilities in Concord, I firmly believe that Haymar is a top-tier character worth considering for any team. With his impressive bowmanship and the strategic combination of Blinding Flash and Wall of Fire, he can bring a unique edge to any battlefield encounter.
Daw
In Concord, Daw stands out as an exceptional healer. This is largely due to his unique tool, the Healing Pad. Not only does he mend injuries effectively, but Daw also safeguards his team with the Security Dome. This shield is invaluable for capturing objectives and keeping teammates alive. To be a supportive team member, position your Healing Pad within the Security Dome.
Teo
Teo stands out in Concord for his simplicity and effectiveness. Equipped with two user-friendly rifles, along with Smoke Grenades and Clusters capable of causing significant harm, Teo’s arsenal is uncomplicated yet potent. Moreover, his passive ability grants him the unique advantage of seeing through smoke while taking aim with his weapons, enhancing both protection and cunning in his playstyle.
Teo also has a Double Jump and Double Doge, making him hard to hit and easy to get away with.
Emari
In simpler terms, Emari stands out as Concord’s top Anchor. Her Tough as Nails Passive keeps her taking minimal physical harm. Furthermore, she offers defensive support to her teammates by activating her Armor Generator skill. Lastly, with her Protective Shield, she effectively absorbs enemy attacks.
I’m absolutely in love with her Rotary Scrap Cannon! This weapon is loaded with an impressive number of projectiles, perfect for pinning down enemies and securing swift victories. The more I shoot, the faster its fire rate increases – what a thrill!
Roka
With her exceptional mobility, Roka, as a Haunt, proves challenging for opponents to land hits on. This delightful challenge arises primarily from her Triple Jump and Air Dodge Movement Style, along with the added bonus of her hovering thrusters, enabling her to remain airborne.
I can soar above the game maps and annihilate adversaries with my trusty SAL-90 Light Missile Launcher, taking full advantage of my agility. Then, in a heartbeat, I swoop down upon them, inflicting massive damage with my devastating Blast Dive.
Lennox
Lennox stands out as Concord’s exceptional Warden, boasting a diverse arsenal for adaptability. His weapons pack a punch – the HL-4 “Bell Ringer” Heavy Handgun offers superior long-range capabilities, while the Chesterly Model 3 Revolver excels in quick fire rate and swiftly completing kills.
With Claxton Healing, you can keep battling without withdrawing for recovery. Additionally, the Exploding Knife offers swift finishes: strike an adversary with it, then follow up with a few shots from the Heavy Pistol, and they may well be eliminated.
It-Z
As a dedicated gamer, I’d have to say that my top choice for an unforgettable character in Concord is none other than It-Z. With her quick footwork and agility, she moves around the gameboard like a pro. And let me tell you, when it comes to staying alive, It-Z is second to none. But what really sets her apart is her ability to deceive her enemies with clever decoys. It’s always a thrilling experience to outsmart opponents using her stealthy tactics!
The EL120 Electrostatic Shotgun operates effectively at short distances. Once you successfully land a hit on an adversary with its Scramble Rebound feature, the weapon gains added power for even more formidable performance.
IT-Z’s most enjoyable talent is her Cosmic Slip, which grants the power of teleportation and leaving a decoy in its place. This ability can be quite elusive and I’ve managed to secure kills just as I was about to be defeated by unexpectedly appearing in new locations. Additionally, IT-Z generates decoys when evading, making her an excellent escapist.
Crew Bonuses explained
- Anchor – Increased healing received
- Breacher – Lower Dodge cooldown
- Haunt – Increased mobility
- Ranger – Lower weapon recoil
- Tactician – Improved reload speed
- Warden – Increased weapon damage range
Every character comes with their own set of six Crew Bonuses. These bonuses provide distinct passive benefits, enhancing each character’s gameplay style.
Players can gain clarity about their character’s function in a team through this setup. To illustrate, an anchor in Concord is like a tank, absorbing more healing, while haunts act as formidable opponents with enhanced mobility.
In Concord, choosing the optimal characters is essential for success. However, combining them with the ideal controller configurations will significantly enhance your gaming experience during the beta trial.
