The banter between Deadpool and Wolverine is always entertaining, but add Captain America to the mix and you’ve got a real crowd-pleaser. The chemistry between Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds, and Chris Evans, as shown in their respective roles, suggests that a Marvel Cinematic Universe adventure where they team up against enemies in North Korea could be an exciting experience.

“One of the standout Deadpool comic books, ‘The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly,’ brims with action and emotion, making it an ideal candidate for a captivating Marvel Cinematic Universe film adaptation. The dynamic among the trio is superb, and the revelations about Deadpool’s past are heart-wrenching yet instrumental in shaping his character.”

As a hardcore gamer and Marvel fan, I can’t help but notice that S.H.I.E.L.D., once a beacon of hope in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, seems to have lost its shine lately. But here’s the thing – Deadpool could be exactly what this peacekeeping agency needs to reclaim its spotlight!

Deadpool vs Shield: A Rollercoaster Ride captures Deadpool’s quest for vengeance, filled with laughter and bloodshed as he wages war. Meanwhile, Shield grapples with a traitor within their ranks. This tale is an exhilarating blend of aggravation and excitement!

5 Secret Wars

A Multiverse-Threatening Adventure That Lacks Deadpool

Best Comics For A Deadpool Movie Post-Deadpool & Wolverine
  • Released: January 24, 1984
  • Created by: Jim Shooter, Michael Zeck

“It’s highly anticipated that ‘Secret Wars’, set to release in 2027, will be Marvel’s biggest film yet. Given this, it seems likely that the Multiverse will expand, inviting characters from various timelines to participate in the forthcoming battlefields. Deadpool is expected to be among these participants due to a teaser in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’, where he is seen being held by Thor.”

Although “Secret Wars” comics don’t heavily feature Deadpool as the main character, there is another series called “Secret Secret Wars“. It might seem unnecessary for a Deadpool tie-in in the Avengers movie, but it makes sense for Deadpool to have his own spin-off adventure within the epic Marvel story known as “the most important Marvel story ever told”.

4 Dead Presidents

Deadpool Is Tasked With Killing Zombie Versions Of U.S. Presidents

Best Comics For A Deadpool Movie Post-Deadpool & Wolverine
  • Released: November 7, 2012
  • Created by: Gerry Duggan, Brian Posehn, Tony Moore

In some instances, Deadpool tales delve into the emotional side, while others are simply quirky and amusing, showcasing the character’s unique personality. The “Dead Presidents” story arc could introduce a more unconventional fun element to the Marvel Cinematic Universe by pitting Deadpool against undead U.S. Presidents. From George Washington to Ronald Reagan, these zombie presidents pose a threat to America and they don’t require a democratic process for their actions.

In this scenario, Deadpool is given the mission to eliminate some deceased U.S. Presidents, primarily due to his renown and affection for Canada. The idea of a film adaptation of Dead Presidents could offer plenty of amusement, as it provides opportunities for Deadpool to interact with characters like Doctor Strange and potentially Captain America.

3 Uncanny X-Force

Deadpool Becomes Part of A Black Ops Team

Best Comics For A Deadpool Movie Post-Deadpool & Wolverine
  • Released: October 6, 2010
  • Created by: Rick Remender, Jerome Opena

Deadpool has a history of mercenary work and working with covert teams prior to his red-suited days, but he’s not known for getting along with others or being considered team material due to his annoying nature. However, this is set to change when he becomes part of the X-Force, a team spearheaded by Wolverine that tackles issues too violent and politically complicated for the X-Men. This group is made up of dangerous mutants who are courageous enough to confront problems that others shy away from.

The X-Force team, albeit a lesser version possibly created by Deadpool, is the authentic version we’ll see. It offers a fantastic opportunity to reunite Hugh Jackman as Wolverine with other Mutants, adding depth to their interactions. What makes X-Force with Deadpool particularly intriguing is that Deadpool stands on a relatively strong moral ground, leading to some intense banter, often involving sharp words exchanged between an agitated Wolverine to generate tension.

2 Cable & Deadpool

The Marvel Universe’s Odd Couple Deserves A Second Chance

Best Comics For A Deadpool Movie Post-Deadpool & Wolverine
  • Released: March 24, 2004
  • Created by: Fabian Nicieza, Mark Brooks

In a twist of events, Deadpool 2 introduced Cable to the silver screen, but fast-forward six years, and it appears that Cable has faded into obscurity, more so when Deadpool seems to have found a new best friend in Wolverine. Despite the captivating bond between them, there’s an untapped potential for the friendship between Cable and Deadpool within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Their team dynamic is undeniable, and it’s high time their friendship was explored on screen.

In a bizarre yet entertaining team-up straight from the pits of Hades, a time-traveling warrior, the offspring of Scott Summers and Jean Grey (X-Men’s Cyclops and Phoenix), and the smart-mouthed Deadpool make an unstoppable trio. They leap through different Marvel Cinematic Universe tales that perfectly balance humor and action, dishing out justice to both good and bad characters alike.

A Cat-And-Mouse S.H.I.E.L.D. Espionage Story

Best Comics For A Deadpool Movie Post-Deadpool & Wolverine
  • Released: October 8, 2014
  • Created by: Gerry Duggan, Matteo Lolli

In a buddy-cop scenario, Deadpool proves to be an excellent fit, particularly alongside Wolverine. Given this successful dynamic, why not team him up with another Avenger who shares a past? A matchup between Hawkeye and Deadpool (titled Hawkeye vs. Deadpool) provides ample opportunities for Jeremy Renner humor, and it would be entertaining to witness Renner delivering these jokes with his well-known flair.

A face-off between Hawkeye and Deadpool not only presents an ideal scenario for bringing Renner back as Hawkeye, but it also offers an entertaining plot filled with espionage, intrigue, and a plethora of intense combat scenes, as these two underrated heroes engage in a fierce competition to ascend to the top.
