All Crafting Life Skill Menus share a common design, featuring sections that boost your total skill level, enhance experience acquisition, and offer additional benefits. The highest positioned nodes become accessible as you advance in your Crafting Life rank, and they are often considered more advantageous, making them worth pursuing.

As a crafting enthusiast, my aim is to boost both my proficiency and experience points. This will enable me to access nodes that simplify the mini-games associated with crafting, making it easier for me to achieve higher quality recipes, especially when I manage to secure great or perfect rankings in these games. With a potent tool at hand and some trusty companions by my side, I can often surpass the suggested skill levels for my crafting recipes without needing to unlock every Skill+ node on the menu.

To gain access to certain nodes, you first need to unlock a specific number of them. For instance, you won’t be able to reach the “+20% exp” node unless you have unlocked a total of 40 nodes within the skill menu.

For optimal progress, concentrate on mastering both the Carpentry and Blacksmithing professions. They specialize in creating tools and weapons respectively. By honing your skills in these areas and producing superior crafted items, you’ll find it smoother to advance in the other Crafting disciplines.

“Tap!” and “Hold!” Power Action

Sadly, these prolonged interactions take more time compared to a single press, and if I’m not quick enough, it could impact my final score.

It would be beneficial for you to open up a few nodes that expedite the completion of these Power Actions. Some require a higher Crafting Life rank, such as ‘Hero’, but there are many others that can be opened right away.

To create numerous tools using common resources, it’s advisable to acquire the Auto Crafting skill. This ability will initially grant you access to 2-star recipes and allow you to climb higher tiers over time. Remember that opting for auto crafting materials guarantees a standard or ordinary quality output. If your goal is to mass produce items and possibly double your production, then playing the mini-game might be more beneficial for you.

Typically, it’s advisable to engage in the mini-game while creating materials needed for crafting recipes. However, auto-crafting can prove handy when fabricating furniture or decorations for your campsite, or when fulfilling quest requirements. Remember, though, avoid using auto-craft if a quest demands a tool/weapon/armor of Good quality or better.

In each crafting journey, there’s a unique move known as the Special Action that lets you finish three stages of crafting simultaneously. This means you could potentially wrap up an entire round just by employing the Special Action. As you advance and uncover more nodes or level up, you’ll gain the ability to skip even more turns. However, it’s crucial to emphasize that the Special Action is indispensable and should be given priority over the Tap/Hold Power Actions.

Special Skill Charge Rate

A Faster Special Action

Regarding the Special Action, there’s the associated Special Skill Charge Rate. You can find these options on the left side of your Skill Menu. They offer the advantage of increasing your Special Skill charge rate by 10%, but at a cost of 10 points. The term “Special Skill Charge” refers to how quickly the yellow meter surrounding your character’s icon (located in the upper left corner) fills up. A faster charging meter means more opportunities to use the Special Action within the minigame.

In simpler terms, the Special Skill Charge rates are exclusive to your character, not affecting any teammates you might have in the mini-games. Each teammate has their own charge rate or meter independently.
