As a seasoned Clash Royale veteran with over 5000 trophies under my belt, I can confidently say that the Berserker Clash event has brought a fresh twist to the game that I’ve come to love! The infusion of Rage into troops when they hit half HP adds an exciting layer of strategy that I find thrilling.
This week’s Clash Royale contest revolves around survivors on the battlefield. To succeed, players should strategize to maintain their troops in combat, particularly when their health drops to half. The reason being is due to a unique rule implemented by the Berserker Clash event.
In this contest-like scenario, there’s a minor twist: When a unit’s health drops to half, it gains Rage. This enhancement boosts their speed and attack rate. Unlike units such as Skeleton Army that won’t experience the Rage effect, cards like Valkyrie can prove quite beneficial due to this feature!
Best Decks For Berserker Clash Event
It’s clear that using weak troops such as those that can be quickly eliminated by Zap or The Log isn’t a smart strategy, considering they don’t offer much value even when faced with common 2-Elixir spells. To make your deck effective, you should include troops like Firecracker that can withstand such attacks.
Instead, it’s strongly suggested to employ cards that specifically focus on towers and structures adjacent to various types of Giants. These cards are powerful enough to withstand assaults, even from multiple attackers.
Bowler And Magic Archer Deck
- Firecracker Evolution (Elixir 3)
- Goblin Drill Evolution (Elixir 4)
- Magic Archer (Elixir 4)
- Bowler (Elixir 5)
- Electro Wizard (Elixir 4)
- Mother Witch (Elixir 4)
- Guardians (Elixir 3)
- Phoenix (Elixir 4)
- Average Elixir Cost: 3.9
The Bowler is particularly effective against medium-sized ground forces, but shines even more when enraged. To counter potential airborne attacks, consider deploying either the Magic Archer or the Firecracker as backup.
Prior to the Bowler and the support troops arriving at the bridge, it’s advisable to place a Goblin Drill near the tower. The goal is to divert the attention of the tower guardian, forcing your opponent to expend Elixir in an attempt to halt your offensive push.
Mother Witch can be an effective ally for Bowler, especially when your opponent uses flying units such as Minions or Bats. However, if the enemy doesn’t have many air troops, it’s better to save Mother Witch and utilize her as support for cards like Phoenix instead.
Royal Recruits And Hog Rider Deck
- Firecracker Evolution (Elixir 3)
- Royal Recruits Evolution (Elixir 7)
- Inferno Dragon (Elixir 4)
- Arrows (Elixir 3)
- Freeze (Elixir 4)
- Knight (Elixir 3)
- Valkyrie (Elixir 4)
- Hog Rider (Elixir 4)
- Average Elixir Cost: 4.0
This deck does have a catch, and without learning that twist you may struggle to find success using it. Freeze is the key to winning fights on this deck, but you need to deploy it with precise timing. When your troop is fighting with another troop or rushing towards the enemy tower, you need to wait for it to go down to half HP and then deploy the Freeze on the tower or the opposing units. This way, your troop will be raged and deal much higher damage to the opponents while they can do nothing. The deployment must be a little bit before going half-HP though.
In a Hog Rider attack, freezing an almost defeated tower along with nearby defending troops will provide ample time for your troops to inflict significant damage on the frozen tower. This tactic is also useful in defensive scenarios.
