Best FPS Games From Each Year of the 90s

As a seasoned gamer who grew up in the golden era of FPS gaming, I can confidently say that the 1990s were simply unparalleled. I remember staying up late into the night, eyes glued to the screen, as I navigated the dark corridors of Doom, or battled it out with fellow agents in GoldenEye’s multiplayer mode. The adrenaline rush, the sense of accomplishment, and the sheer fun those games provided are memories that will stay with me forever.

To this day, I still pull out those old games when I need a nostalgia fix or when I want to introduce my kids to the classics. And let’s not forget the joke that was the voice acting in those games – “YOU MUST CLEAR THIS ROOM!” will never get old!

The 1990s represented a golden era for first-person shooter (FPS) video games. Games such as Doom and Quake were among the standout titles of each year during this time period.
