As I type this, only a few days have passed since the March 6th launch of the game, and currently, there are thirteen playable Lancers available in FragPunk. The diverse selection of Lancers ensures that every player can find a character to suit their style, but some are more powerful than others. Hollowpoint shines in obtaining information and maintaining positions. If your team sustains damage during the approach to the site, they can gather together and recover before the opposing team attempts a retake.

Pathojen has the ability to set up a Killer Queen trap that inflicts continuous damage on opponents once it’s either detonated automatically or activated intentionally. Additionally, her Shroom Wall serves as a barrier, preventing enemies from storming the area or executing surprise attacks.

Broker

The initial character you’ll encounter in this game during the tutorial is called Broker. He’s a solid choice for you to keep playing with, as he comes equipped with a powerful skill – Goddard’s Vengeance, an easy-to-handle rocket launcher that can dish out significant damage.

Cherry Bomb is an extremely beneficial skill since it generates a group of energy explosives that essentially turn anyone who contacts them into vapor. Although easy to locate and eliminate, their destruction alerts Broker players about the enemy’s direction. Lastly, Smokestack Lightning ability generates a massive cloud of smoke offering substantial concealment for the entire team.
