As a seasoned Zombies player with countless hours under my belt, I can confidently say that these Gobblegum power-ups are nothing short of game-changers. From teleporting yourself out of sticky situations with “Anywhere But Here!” to amassing an arsenal of bullets with “Alchemical Antithesis,” these perks have the ability to turn the tide in your favor when things start going south.

Thanks to Dr. Monty, players of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 have a higher chance of surviving against the zombie horde thanks to the GobbeGum system. Players can choose five GobbleGums for their loadout, which they will carry into every map. They then try to roll the dice, either for free or using points, in order to get the most advantageous GobbleGum in Black Ops 3 Zombies.

In the Zombie mode of Black Ops 3, there’s a plentiful supply of GobbleGums. These items provide players with exclusive and potent perks when consumed. However, not all of them are readily available; some are DLC, while others classified as Ultra-Rare Mega GobbleGums can be challenging to obtain because they need Liquid Divinium and a stroke of good luck to be used in Dr. Monty’s Factory.

Instead of players saying “Please revive me, I have the Ray Gun.” They can instead say “No worries, I have Arms Grace!” since this Gobblegum means they will spawn in at the start of a new round with their weapons intact.

Without Arms Grace, players must continually collect backup items before each new zombie wave. However, this feature significantly facilitates cooperative play in Zombies, as it allows players to retain their weapons throughout the game, reducing the need for repeated use of the Mystery Box.

6 Danger Closest

Fans of Black Ops may pine for PhD Flopper, the well-loved Perk-a-Cola that had limited playtime because Treyarch recognized its overpowering capabilities. Fortunately, there’s an option to somewhat reintroduce it using the Danger Closest Gobblegum, which grants players 100% immunity to explosives. This means that their own weapons and tanks will no longer pose much of a risk.

Danger Closest excels on compact maps where players wield powerful weapons such as the enhanced starter pistol (L4-Siege) and the Ray Gun, and even aids in larger maps that include the Panzer. However, a drawback of Danger Closest is that it only lasts for three rounds, requiring players to take a chance and attempt to pick it up again afterward.

5 In Plain Sight

Zombies Won’t Attack For 10 Seconds

If players find themselves in a difficult situation or require revival, then activating In Plain Sight renders a Monkey Bomb unnecessary for distracting the undead. By consuming this Gobblegum, a player becomes invisible to all zombies on the map for ten seconds, providing enough protection to be beneficial during tense moments.

Enemies such as zombies and mini-bosses will disregard the player, wandering the map looking for other players or something else to attack. The ability ‘In Plain Sight’ can quickly come to the aid of players who are nearly defeated, offering a chance for survival due to its swift activation and powerful effects.

4 Shopping Free

60 Seconds to Purchase Everything in Sight

In simpler terms, the Ultra-Rare item called Shopping Free Gobblegum offers a full minute during which players can buy anything in the game without cost. This is particularly useful for gathering essential items early in the game, preparing it for an Easter Egg quest or a prolonged high-round play. Since players can quickly purchase all doors and obstacles on the map during this time, it significantly enhances their gameplay experience.

If players are familiar with the map layout, they can obtain all doors, bonuses, and weapons they desire without spending a single point due to the Shopping Free perk. This perk is particularly useful for completing easter eggs in the early rounds, although it remains enjoyable even if not primarily used for that purpose.

3 Anywhere But Here!

Teleport to a Random Location in the Map

Instantly teleports to a random location. A concussive blast knocks away any nearby zombies, keeping you safe.

Nothing’s more chilling than a zombie train gone awry due to a miscalculated move or an incorrect turn, resulting in a horde of the undead swarming me until I cease to exist. Fortunately, the Anywhere But Here! Gobblegum comes in handy, offering a much-needed teleportation to dodge such perilous situations – a random location is my new sanctuary.

The location is completely random, but that part of the map must be unlocked first. However, upon an activation of Anywhere But Here! players are provided with a moment of safety just in case they spawn into a crowd of zombies, as it will instantly knock them all back.

2 Alchemical Antithesis

Exchange Points for Ammunition

Every 10 points earned is instead awarded 1 ammo in the stock of the current weapon.

In games, having Max Ammo boosts is crucial for achieving longer rounds, particularly for those not utilizing wall-buy weapons. But with the Alchemical Antithesis feature enabled, the need for Max Ammo power-ups fades away. Instead, during a 60-second window, players can accumulate points in various ways such as using grenades, firing their weapon, or constructing barriers.

For every 10 points earned, one bullet is restored to the magazine. Although it might not seem like much, the number can quickly increase given an endless supply of ammunition. Combine Alchemical Antithesis with either the Thunder Gun or the Apothicon Servant, and players will constantly have fresh ammo at their disposal.

One way to rephrase this in a more natural and easy-to-understand manner could be: “There’s no other Gobblegum quite like Perkaholic. It’s an Ultra-Rare Mega Gobblegum that players might need luck to obtain, but it shines particularly well during longer rounds because of its ability to propel players forward. Players are usually restricted to buying only four perks, but Perkaholic offers them every perk on the map, potentially allowing them to have as many as eight or more perks from a single Gobblegum.

This setup excels in advanced gameplay strategies like map exploration for Easter Eggs, as by the first round itself, players will possess all perks, including the prestigious Juggernog. Perkaholic, while scarce, is one of the most coveted Gobblegums due to its exceptional value.
