Even though it looks adorable, *Escape From Duckov* is fundamentally an extraction shooter, so you can still lose all your equipment. The game is fairly forgiving when it comes to dying, but you’ll need money to rearm, upgrade your duck, or improve your hideout.
Earning money in *Escape From Duckov* is similar to other games where you scavenge and complete missions, but it’s a solo experience. You’ll gain cash by finishing quests and selling items, and even seemingly worthless junk can be valuable. Here are some tips to maximize your earnings.
How to Get Money Fast in Escape From Duckov
On the Ground Zero map, there’s a simple way to quickly gather valuable items to sell. You can find materials by looting toolboxes and a weapon cache within a bandit camp located on the left side of the map.
Start by exiting the bunker through the main entrance. Once outside, take the left path at the intersection. Stay close to the edge of the map and continue heading left until you find an entrance to a bandit camp. Be sure to check any toolboxes you come across along the way.
There are a couple of aggressive ducks in this camp that you’ll need to deal with. Once they’re gone, open the weapon chest to the left of the campfire – it always has a different random weapon inside, and sometimes it contains valuable guns like assault rifles. You can also find food and medical supplies in boxes around the camp.
Once you’ve visited that location, head back to the bunker entrance and take the path on the right. You’ll eventually come to a damaged bridge. Fix the bridge using two pieces of wood, then cross it and head south to open a shortcut to the bunker’s cellar. But there’s still more to do.
After you find the shortcut, head north on the road until you come to an open area. You’ll see another damaged bridge to your left, and a guarded compound with dangerous bird creatures to the right and uphill. These birds are much tougher than the ducks you’ve faced so far, so use the sandbags nearby for protection during the fight.
Defeat the black birds to get better weapons, regular ammunition, and level 2 armor. Nearby, you’ll find Pato Chapo, a much tougher boss than the others. If you manage to beat him, you can collect valuable items from his body and sell them for money in Escape From Duckov.
Unlike most shooters where you can crouch for cover, *Escape From Duckov* doesn’t allow that. Instead, you can shoot enemies from behind sandbags and other glowing barriers. While these barriers provide protection, they won’t last forever and will eventually be destroyed.
What Items Should You Sell in Escape From Duckov?
Extra weapons and armor are typically the first things players sell when trying to make space in *Escape From Duckov*. Following the farming route described earlier will give you a surplus of guns and gear, and you likely won’t need to buy food or medicine if you manage your resources carefully.
It’s best to keep a good supply of everything you find, particularly when you’re new to the game. Even everyday items like wood, nuts, and bolts are used to improve your base. Since almost everything is used for crafting, completing quests, or upgrading, you can always sell off anything extra you don’t need right away.
Please don’t sell Cores, Fading Feathers, or Dog Tags – they’re all useful items. If you find any paper money while playing *Escape From Duckov*, you’ll need to sell it at the vending machine back at your base.
