Best Monster Echoes In Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom

As a seasoned adventurer who’s spent countless hours exploring the mystical lands of Hyrule, I must say that these new additions to The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom are nothing short of brilliant!

In “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom,” Zelda possesses an extraordinary ability. A tiny spirit called Tri bestows upon her the Tri Rod, enabling her to replicate data from specific items. For instance, if she wants to replicate a table, she can summon it from a menu whenever she desires.

In “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom,” Zelda is capable of duplicating the data of defeated monsters. Each piece of furniture or monster consumes some of Tri’s powers, preventing players from amassing a large number of them, unlike the endless wheels of cheese in numerous memes about “The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.” Among the various creatures Zelda may encounter, these are particularly beneficial to use.

8 Strandtula

Sling Webs Like Spider-Man

  • Location: Suthorn Ruins

Strandtulas are scattered throughout the game, yet they’re definitely going to show up in the Suthorn Ruins of “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.” While not formidable in combat, they help navigate early dungeons with ease. They shine particularly well in 2D sections as they create vertical lines for players to ascend.

In some later stages of play, narrow spaces may require the use of these unsettling insects. One such spider, known as Crawltula, has an impressive ability to cling to any surface. Yet, managing it with binding can sometimes prove tricky for less patient gamers.

7 Crow

Get Rupees Fast And Soar Through Hyrule

  • Location: Hyrule Field

In Hyrule, crows are common sightings, but if explorers venture into the Gerudo Desert, they’ll definitely spot these birds on the boundary between grass and sand. For those new to this world, any airborne adversary can be called upon and subsequently captured. If adventurers leap from a precipice, that flying foe will transport them until it gets exhausted.

As a devoted fan, I’d like to share an intriguing observation about crows in “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom”. They’re not just handy for navigating high terrains when starting out, but they also offer a swift path to wealth. By summoning these crows early on, you can manipulate their initial attacks to plunder Rupees from your foes, making you rich in no time!

6 ReDead

Stun Enemies With A Wailing Scream

  • Location: Gerudo Desert

The ReDead creature has no connection whatsoever to the Red Dead Redemption series, apart from both being set in arid, desert-like environments reminiscent of the Old West. These creatures are spotted wandering around the ruins of the southern Gerudo Desert, and during the early stages of the game, they may pose a threat to players for one of two reasons.

Initially, their primary tactic involves a deafening screech that momentarily incapacitates all foes on-screen. Despite moving sluggishly, they can significantly diminish an enemy’s health if they make contact. The disorienting scream makes incorporating a ReDead Echo into the squad a strategic decision, even with its inherent risks.

5 Chompfin

Destroy Competition In The Water

  • Location: Jabul Waters (Sunken Pirate Ship)

In the enigmatic expanse of Zora Cove’s waters, nestled somewhere on the map in ‘The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom’, you can discover a submerged vessel. Heading southwest from Sea Zora’s location, adventurers will stumble upon this sunken ship. Circling the wreckage reveals a creature resembling a shark – a Chompfin.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Chompfin is the most powerful aquatic beast found in the game. During the climactic boss battle, it can actually prove useful. Slaying this monster might seem challenging, but an effective strategy is to fire arrows at it from your ship while utilizing the Swordfighter form’s bow.

4 Peahat

Spin Through Enemy Defenses

  • Location: Suthorn Cave

Players should consider recruiting the Peahat as one of their early monsters in “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom”. To find it, head east from Suthorn Village and explore a series of caves. The Peahat can be found in the third cave, which is located farthest from the town. This giant plant may take some time to activate, but once it begins spinning, it won’t stop moving.

In tight, monster-filled spaces, this summon can effortlessly mow down monsters. However, be aware that it’s quite vulnerable to fire – a lesson learned from the Pokemon series, where fire typically causes discomfort for plant-like entities.

3 Bombfish

A More Versatile Bomb For The Series

  • Location: Jabul Ruins

Instead of equipping players with bombs similar to Link in many Zelda games, Zelda discovers a Bombfish. This peculiar fish has a bomb tucked in its mouth and serves multiple purposes, both for exploration and combat. Players can detonate the bomb and subsequently offer it to enemies such as Deku Baba to eliminate them instantly.

Echoes of Wisdom”, players might acquire a bomb as part of the Swordfighter form, but even then, it’s beneficial to keep using the Bombfish due to its explosive ability.

2 Buzz Blob

Spam These Little Guys Like Fireballs

  • Location: Faron Wetlands

To most Zelda enthusiasts, the Buzz Blob might resemble a wandering gherkin. Should players attempt to swipe at it, they may receive an unpleasant shock. Every now and then, as it meanders through the Faron Wetlands, this specific creature will discharge an electric cloud. Anyone who dares venture into that area will be left momentarily stunned.

In the game of ‘The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom’, I’ve found that the stun ability of certain enemies, like the ones that release electric bolts, is more effective than the ReDeads. The reason being, the dome-shaped electric attack not only stuns but also deals extra damage to my foes. It’s a real game-changer once I unlock Tri’s extended reach attack, making combat even more exhilarating!

1 Darknut 3

Null’s Weakness Incarnate

  • Location: Faron Wetlands

In “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom,” you’ll encounter the ultimate version of the Darknut enemy, known as the Darknut 3. Compared to its predecessors, this one is larger, boasts thicker armor, and sports a greater number of hit points. Its powerful axe attack not only packs a punch but also covers a wide area. Keep an eye out for it, as it safeguards a valuable accessory called the Spin Brace.

In the vast expanse of Faron Wetlands, nestled east of Scrubton, lies a cave. The Spin Brace isn’t exactly my go-to weapon here, but let me tell you about this new Darknut I encountered! This final boss is an absolute beast, with a colossal mass of limbs that require swift and precise strikes. Guess who’s perfect for the job? None other than the relentless Darknut. He’s proven to be the most formidable offensive force in Echoes of Wisdom, making every battle against him a true test of my skills as a gamer.
