Instead of having the player leap through the galaxy, this adventure primarily concentrates on the detailed exploration of Gisto Major. As the name implies, the player’s objectives revolve around mapping out the planet and uncovering its native plant life and animal species.

While the prizes for this journey might not be particularly exciting, boasting a colossal egg of a mythical creature as the top reward, The Cartographers expedition remains engaging and worthwhile to embark upon again. It truly excels in showcasing exploration elements, placing them at the core of the gameplay experience.

The prizes for the Singularity journey aren’t exceptionally enticing, primarily offering cosmetic upgrades like a fresh jetpack track and a new freighter path. Despite this, the narrative is skillfully constructed and definitely warrants a replay, though the rewards may leave something to be desired.

Utopia

The Utopia venture brought about a slight alteration in direction, with its main aim centered around the collective objective of restoring a deserted star system inhabited by many. This remarkable organic spaceship is invincible and functions as a frigate, becoming an invaluable addition to the player’s fleet when engaging in Frigate Missions, making gameplay more enjoyable for those who favor this feature.

Aquarius

The Aquarius update serves as an outstanding demonstration of Hello Games crafting a tailored tutorial for a novel gameplay aspect, specifically fishing within the game. As players embark on their journey, they find themselves investigating various planets in search of various fish species. Some fish can only be captured at night or on specific planet types, making this task more complex than it initially seems.
