As a seasoned Delta Force veteran with countless hours under my belt, I can confidently say that the SCAR-H is a weapon of choice for many reasons. Its dominance in medium-range encounters is unparalleled, and it’s been a trusty companion through thick and thin.
In the Delta Force game, the Engineer character can utilize several powerful assault rifles, including the SCAR-H. During initial playtesting, this weapon was highly favored by players because of its exceptional accuracy and stopping power. Although it has been slightly altered, the SCAR-H remains an excellent choice for gameplay.
If you need a weapon to control sights from short to medium ranges as an Engineer, the SCAR-H should be your first choice. It’s an excellent selection across all Delta Force game modes, particularly in large-scale Warfare. Here’s a setup for this rifle that trades speed for reliability and simplicity:
Best SCAR-H Attachments in Delta Force
The SCAR-H is an Engineer-exclusive battle rifle that excels at medium range encounters. It has a relatively slow fire rate, but it packs a strong punch that can put targets down in four chest hits up to 40m away, though it is relatively hard to control without the proper attachments. The following setup aims to tone the weapon’s recoil down while maintaining mid-range dominance.
Slot | Attachment |
---|---|
Barrel | SCAR-H Beaver Long Barrel |
Muzzle | Bastion Horizontal Compensator |
Foregrip | X25U Angled Combat Grip |
Magazine | 30-round Mag with Mag Mount |
Rear Grip | M7 Stable Grip |
Stock | Cardinal Stable Stock |
Optic | Viewpoint 3x Scope |
With this setup, the SCAR-H will have the following stats:
- Damage: 25
- Range: 46m
- Control: 78
- Handling: 36
- Stability: 54
- Accuracy: 41
With the initial burst, you should be able to hit enemies effectively from up to 50 meters away, whether you’re using a magnified optic or not. However, it’s an optional feature. We suggest the Viewpoint 3x Scope due to its clear view and average zoom distance, which works well for slow-firing guns like the SCAR-H. The muzzle rise of the SCAR-H is slower compared to other weapons, and even with the magnified view, the recoil remains manageable, much like the AKS-74 in Delta Force.
You can also use a drum mag instead of the 30-round one, but your gun’s stats will take a notable hit. You can compensate for any lost stats by equipping handguard rails of your preference.
For convenience’s sake, you can import the build above using the following code: SCAR-H Battle Rifle-Warfare-6EKVA5406GGSVELMFER1R
Calibration
The unique Weapon Calibration feature distinguishes the Delta Force series from other Battlefield games. In this system, players have the ability to fine-tune and optimize their weapons by adjusting specific attributes while compromising on others.
To optimize the performance of the SCAR-H, we suggest adjusting the settings to prioritize both Firing and Aiming Stability during breath control. Additionally, fine-tune the Barrel for improved Firing Stability. This modification should enhance your aiming accuracy while reducing perceived recoil. However, keep in mind that this setup may slow down the weapon’s handling, making it less agile in close combat situations.
The Stability during Breathing stat will make it simpler for you to keep your crosshair on the target when you hold your breath while aiming through the sights. Since the SCAR-H tends to move noticeably from side to side when aiming, it’s advisable to hold your breath before shooting. Of course, this isn’t essential if your target is very close, but given the ease of overlooking the Hold Breath feature, it’s worth keeping in mind.
