In ARC Raiders, picking the right skills is key to becoming a better player in all areas – fighting enemies, battling other players, and simply staying alive. You’ll need to spend skill points to unlock more powerful abilities, and committing to a specific skill path is a significant decision. This guide offers a strong skill progression plan for new players or anyone starting fresh after a wipe.
Best Skill Tree Progression Path in ARC Raiders (Non-PvP)
In ARC Raiders, players can develop their characters through three skill trees: Conditioning, Mobility, and Survival. You earn a total of 75 skill points (not including bonuses from Expeditions), meaning you’ll need to carefully choose which skills to focus on.
So, as I’ve been playing, I’ve noticed each skill tree really focuses on boosting different parts of your raider, helping you survive the Rust Belt. Here’s my take on what you can expect to find in each one – basically, what each tree specializes in.
- Conditioning: Contains mostly PvP-focused skills that will improve your chances of surviving an encounter with a hostile raider.
- Mobility: Skills that are focused on improving your player’s endurance on the battlefield, aimed at improving traversal capabilities and stamina.
- Survival: Purely looting-based skills that will improve your raider’s ability to sneak into locations, loot and carry the maximum amount of items to bring back to Speranza.
If you enjoy playing the game’s player-versus-environment mode and want to collect as much loot as possible, here’s a recommended way to develop your character’s skills.

| Traveling Tinkerer | 1 Point | ||
| One Raider’s Scraps | 1 Point | ||
| Stubborn Mule | 1 Point | ||
| Three Deep Breaths | 1 Point | ||
| Specialization Skill | Security Breach | 1 Point |
Okay, so if you want to be a sneaky, fast-moving player who also makes a good haul in ARC Raiders, this skill tree build is seriously one of the best. I know the Security Breach skill got nerfed recently, but I still go for it. Why? Because even after the changes, those security lockers still drop a ton of awesome, epic-level gear during events like Night Raid or when Electromagnetic Storms hit. It’s totally worth it for the loot!
