This weapon has always held a special place in my heart, and with its recent addition back into MW3 Season 5, I’m eager to share my best loadout, attachments, perks, and equipment for this Assault Rifle.

In Modern Warfare 3’s Season 5 update, the legendary STG44 from World War II is back and ready to reign supreme in multiplayer once more. Even if you’re an experienced gamer, you’ll still need the optimal loadout to fully maximize its potential.

One of the two recently unveiled weapons in the update was last used in Vanguard and Warzone Caldera prior to this.

In MW3, I’d recommend the following optimized configuration for the STG44: attachments, Perks, and additional tools included. This setup is currently considered the most effective in the game.

Next up in my arsenal is the DR-6 Handstop, a game-changer for my Assault Rifle setup. Based on my personal use, iron sights worked fine for shorter engagements in smaller environments. However, longer firefights proved challenging using them on maps like Afghanistan or Wasteland. That’s why we added an Optic to our setup. But if you’re comfortable with standard sights, go ahead and replace the Optic with the DR79 Combo Stock.

In my experience as a fan, the 50-round drum is an absolute game-changer in quick-motion encounters. It allows me to wipe out whole enemy squads without having to pause for reloading, giving me an edge over my opponents.

A top-notch STG setup isn’t fully optimized without incorporating Perks. Begin with the stealth enhancing “Assassin Vest” for concealment against UAVs as a priority. Subsequently, equip the “Commando Gloves” to reload on the move, eliminating the need to halt your progress to replenish ammo.

In the midst of all the explosives being used by the enemy, it’s essential to have EODPadding for your protection against grenades and Semtex. Additionally, we advise wearing CovertSneakers to minimize the sound of your footsteps and keep your location hidden.

In terms of Equipment, a Frag Grenade is ideal for swiftly obtaining a kill or cleansing a space, while a Smoke Grenade offers concealment as you extricate yourself from a perilous predicament.

How to unlock STG44 in MW3

As a dedicated gamer with years of battle royale experience under my belt, I understand the excitement that comes with unlocking new weapons in your favorite game. And let me tell you, the STG44 is no exception! To get your hands on this powerful and versatile weapon, all you have to do is complete Sector 7 of Season 5 Battle Pass.

To obtain the Assault Rifle using the fastest method, you’ll require a sum of 20 Tokens. Initially, collect all the rewards from sectors 1, 2, and 4, which add up to five rewards in total. Afterward, proceed to sector 5.

Best alternatives

If the STG44 doesn’t satisfy you, consider trying out the user-friendly yet powerful SVA 545 in Modern Warfare 3 version 5. Another popular choice among players since the game’s launch is the MCW.
