In a large, open-world setting like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, it’s likely that there will be numerous side quests available. As expected, these quests can be found throughout all the game’s settlements. However, what could catch you off guard is just how lengthy some of these quests become.

If you excel at the forging mini-game, you’re likely to emerge as the winner. However, Matthias isn’t eager to give his sword to you, despite having promised. Since his honor has been tarnished, he’ll challenge Henry to a duel. But when Henry, the blacksmith turned warrior, triumphs in this confrontation, Matthias will reluctantly hand over the sword, although not without first telling Henry he can take it and choke on it.

Master Schindel’s Toys

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, as you eventually arrive at Kuttenberg, you’ll embark on a quest that seems like a chase for a phantom spy, known as Goatskin. During this adventure, it will be revealed that Goatskin has pilfered valuable items from a scholar named Johann Schindel. This revelation adds a secondary mission to your journey – locating the stolen items, while your primary objective remains finding and apprehending Goatskin.

After tracking down the spy, you’ll find out that Schindel’s valuables are concealed in a maze of tunnels beneath Kuttenberg. The deceased companion of Goatskin, Angel, possesses a map to this location hidden inside his jacket, which he wore at the time of his execution on the gallows. As a result, Henry will have to quietly approach the gallows, grab the map, and then work out where Schindel’s riches are located by deciphering the rough sketch on it.

Upon your arrival in Kuttenberg, one of your initial tasks will involve bringing together the group known as the Dry Devils gang. However, please note that not all previous members are eager to return, with Matthew being one who prefers to keep his distance.

Instead of openly declaring himself, the man is disguising himself as a customs officer for the king, deceitfully robbing travelers. When investigating Matthew, Henry discovers that this outlaw has stolen a valuable document from Sedletz Monastery. Besides trying to persuade Matthew to join him, Henry must also find this crucial document. After overcoming some challenging tests of skill, Matthew refuses to rejoin the Dry Devil gang, but he provides Henry with information about their secret hideout. Therefore, it’s a matter of waiting until nighttime and recovering the document without them realizing Henry was even there.

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, one of the fascinating recurring figures is Katherine, a secret agent working for Zizka, gathering intel across the map. Towards the end of the story, Henry will infiltrate Sigismund’s Camp alongside her. Throughout this plotline, it’s revealed that Katherine has been pursued by someone who has stolen one of her shoes.

Fortunately, Mutt assists Henry in following the scent of another shoe to locate Chakan. Despite their language differences, there are numerous creative ways to intimidate Chakan into stopping his pursuit of Katherine. This action is entirely up to Henry, but it’s necessary if he wishes to pursue a romantic relationship with Katherine.

Prior to Henry’s undercover assignment at Sigismund’s Camp, he has several alternative methods to infiltrate the enemy’s domain. These routes provide him with diverse opportunities, including participation in the role of an Absolver.

This task serves as a challenge to showcase Henry’s abilities in forgery and theft. He must secretly take the famous Absolver sword for his client, and then craft a duplicate to return instead, ensuring the original owner remains unaware. Not only is this an entertaining test of Henry’s talents, but it also provides him with a rare opportunity to learn how to create one of the game’s finest swords.

In the primary narrative, a character labeled as ‘A Sinful Soul’ appears, and your task is to win over a reclusive monk who lives in seclusion. It is revealed that the hermit and Margaret once shared a romantic relationship during their youth, but due to jealousy from the hermit’s brother, Jan, he attacked his brother in a quarrel. To help Margaret cope with her guilt, Henry locates the remains of Jan and performs the long-awaited funeral rites for him.

You’ll need to retrieve her lost book while saving Hans in Maleshov – a task that might just win her heart!

Once you hand the book back to Rosa, she’ll disclose that it isn’t merely a book she’s reading, but one she is actually authoring herself. Following this, Henry will be given the opportunity to influence how Rosa’s tale unfolds. He can choose to flirt or make light-hearted remarks with her, contingent upon your desired outcome.
