With each update, more heroes are becoming available in Overwatch 2‘s Stadium mode, and now Tracer is one of them. Tracer is a particularly powerful addition to Stadium, offering players a variety of ways to play and win.
Tracer’s abilities in the Stadium game mode mainly improve her Blink and Recall, letting her play more like a support or stay safely behind enemy lines. With the right upgrades, she can even consistently deliver Pulse Bombs. Here are some of the best ways to build Tracer in Overwatch 2 Stadium.
Best Pulse Pistols Tracer Build
As a Tracer main, I’ve found this Stadium build is amazing! If you want to play her like you normally do in *Overwatch 2*, it really boosts her damage with Pulse Pistols. Plus, it makes her Blink and Recall even better, helping you stay alive and in the action longer. It’s a great way to maximize her potential!
Begin by equipping the Timelapse Power, which makes your weapon hit harder with each consecutive shot on the same enemy. Next, add Foresight, giving your Pulse Pistols auto-aim after you Blink. Round out your build with Quantum Clip, which increases your ammo and gives you health back when you shoot enemies while reloading after a Blink, and Blink of an Eye, which shortens the cooldown of your Blink ability every time you land a critical hit.

When upgrading your weapons, the Epic Underworld Quickloader is a top choice – it increases your attack power and speed, and also makes your reload faster with each successful shot. Once you’ve saved up enough money, prioritize Codebreaker to ignore enemy armor, Hardlight Accelerator for a significant boost to weapon power, and Eye of the Spider for even more damage and a bonus against weakened enemies. For the early stages, the Rare Icy Coolant and Talon Modification Module are helpful upgrades to consider.
This setup makes your Pulse Pistols incredibly powerful, and they get even stronger when you use Blink or Recall. It encourages a classic Tracer playstyle – quickly moving behind enemy lines to harass them, just like in a regular *Overwatch 2* game. Plus, dealing extra damage with each consecutive hit and reducing enemy armor effectiveness means you can easily take down even the toughest tanks.
Best Pulse Bomb Tracer Build

With the right setup, Tracer’s Stadium kit lets her deliver Pulse Bombs more often and with increased power. This build adds extra, smaller Pulse Bombs to her regular abilities and significantly boosts the damage of her ultimate.
Begin by choosing the “Flash Fist” talent. This makes Tracer’s melee attack knock enemies back after she uses Blink, and it also increases the damage based on her Ability Power, letting you add extra damage to your attacks. Next, select “Get Stuffed!” which gives you 5% ultimate energy for each successful melee hit.

After that, purchase Alternate Ending. This upgrade adds an area-of-effect heal to Recall. Then, get Pocket Bomb, which makes your Recall also launch a smaller Pulse Bomb.
Let’s talk about upgrades. First, get Drag Reducers – it significantly increases how far you can throw your Pulse Bomb and gives it a small damage boost. Next, pick up Ironclad Exhaust Ports to help you stay alive longer. Once you’ve saved up enough, buy Biotech Maximizer. This upgrade shortens your ability cooldowns whenever you heal teammates, and with Alternate Ending’s healing ability, you’ll constantly have free Recalls available.

Later in the game, prioritize getting the Chrono Bomb. It significantly increases the damage and range of your Pulse Bomb, and also slows down enemies you hit. Next, purchase the Lumerico Fusion Drive to further boost your Pulse Bomb damage and provide some healing. Finally, complete your build with the Gloomgauntlet, which improves your melee attacks, heals you when you hit enemies with melee attacks, and increases your movement speed.
This setup dramatically reduces Tracer’s Recall cooldown, and each Recall will also deploy a Pulse Bomb. This makes it incredibly difficult for the opposing team to handle the sheer amount of damage you’ll be dealing. While it takes some time to fully set up, the payoff is significant.
Tracer is proving to be a very powerful hero in *Overwatch 2*’s Stadium mode, and the mode is becoming even more fun with each new character added. We can expect all of the *Overwatch 2* heroes to be playable in Stadium eventually.
