While getting a job and advancing your career is the main way to build wealth, there are other options too! You can also make money by selling artwork, finishing objectives, or taking on programming side jobs in this relaxing life simulation game.
Paralives is in Early Access, so expect more ways to make money to be introduced in the future.
Get Two Jobs
Paras can hold down two part-time jobs simultaneously as long as the work schedules don’t overlap. In Paralives, to take on a second job, just use a computer and apply while already employed.
This approach might not work forever, but it’s a helpful way for new Paramedics to save money. Just ensure they prioritize sleep so they can perform their duties effectively and avoid mistakes.
Choose Work Upgrade Perks Wisely
Characters earn upgrade points by performing their jobs well and consistently. These points can be used to unlock Career Perks – special abilities with various benefits. If you want to earn more money, be sure to choose Perks that increase your wages.
Opportunities that help you develop your skills and advance your career can be really valuable long-term. If you don’t need the money immediately, think of them as investments in your future success.
Make & Sell Art
Paras can create art using an easel, and you can sell those paintings to earn money. The better Paras’s art skills become, the more valuable their paintings will be. Improving Paras’s personality can also increase the selling price. You’ll start by selling paintings for about $50, but you can quickly increase that to around $600 within just a few days.
Make sure to read art books to level up your Para’s art skill.
Starting a piece of art requires a small initial investment to cover materials like canvas and other supplies.
Small Programming Contract
If a Para with strong programming skills improves their personality, they might unlock the ability to take on small programming jobs from home and earn money daily.
If you want to earn money through skills like programming or painting, giving your character strong starting stats in those areas is a big advantage. Choosing personality traits that support successful careers will also help.
Complete Goals
Certain objectives offer cash prizes in addition to experience points or other benefits. If you spot one with a substantial reward, make it a priority as you work towards building your wealth.
Many quests are given by characters, and after finishing them, you’ll need to talk to those characters again to claim your reward.
You should also check out request boards around town for similar quests and goals from Townies.
Sell Items
If you move into a furnished house, take a look around and sell any furniture or items you don’t want. You’ll get back exactly what you paid for them, so you don’t have to worry about losing money.
When an item is required for a specific activity, you could even buy it and sell it when done.
Scratch & Peek 
Identify the cover art while scratching off as little foil as possible.

In Paralives, having two incomes is more effective than just one, so if your character is single, consider finding a partner and having them move in. Larger households with multiple high-earning members are the most efficient way to build wealth in the game.
Look Out For Money-Related Story Cards
Every evening, Paras can pick from a selection of Story Cards given by their Storyteller. These cards might offer things like tax breaks, bonuses at work, extra money, or even a large sum of cash.
Check The Newspaper Each Day
In Paralives, it’s a good idea to check the newspaper in the lower right corner every day. It’s especially helpful if you’re trying to earn money, as you can occasionally find free coupons or events where you can win cash prizes.
Choose A More Forgiving Storyteller
As a fan, I’ve noticed that whoever’s telling the story really shapes what happens each night – the Story Cards we get. But they also kind of control how hard the game is! Like, when Ricardo Castello III is in charge, things get tough. Seriously, under his watch, we had a fire start, and then, unbelievably, another one just days later, so soon after the first! It’s crazy how much he throws at us.
Kitchen fires can be expensive to fix, potentially costing thousands for replacements, and other accidents can add to those costs. If you’re aiming to become wealthy in Paralives, choose Stella the dog as your Storyteller for a boost, or Maxence if you prefer a more even gameplay experience.
