The latest installment in the *Battlefield* series has been a huge hit with gamers, bringing the franchise back to what fans love most. Expect fast-paced action, massive battles, and those unforgettable *Battlefield* experiences that players will really enjoy.
Everyone’s been buzzing about the weapons in Battlefield 6, and I’m definitely one of them! I’ve been grinding to unlock everything and level up each gun’s Mastery just to get all the rewards. But honestly, figuring out which weapons are actually *good* has been a huge debate. Luckily, I’ve got you covered – here’s a complete tier list ranking every single weapon in the game!
S-Tier
KORD 6P67 (Assault Rifle)
So, Assault Rifles in *Battlefield 6* are kinda weird right now. They’ve got way more bloom than any other guns, which makes them hard to control. But honestly, the KORD 6P67 is a beast – a lot of people think it’s one of the best ARs in the game. It doesn’t really *shine* in any one area, though. If you look at the numbers, it actually deals the *least* damage of all the Assault Rifles, and it’s pretty well-rounded overall.
The KORD 6P67 might not hit as hard as some other weapons, but it’s incredibly easy to control and use. It’s potentially the most stable Assault Rifle in *Battlefield 6*, making accurate shooting much simpler thanks to very little bloom. It’s also quite mobile, letting players adapt to different situations – whether they prefer rushing in or providing covering fire.
NVO-228E (Assault Rifle)

Okay, so people are really split on whether the KORD 6P67 or the NVO-228E is better, and honestly, it feels like it just depends what you like. But for me, the NVO-228E is *easily* one of the best Assault Rifles in the game – it’s totally top-tier!
This weapon packs a serious punch, dealing as much damage per shot as some of the best in its class. While its firing speed is average, it’s noticeably faster than slower rifles like the SOR-556 MK2. Plus, it’s quite easy to handle, with much less recoil than most other automatic rifles in the game.
PW5A3 (SMG)

Although the SGX is popular due to its high damage output and being readily available, the PW5A3 is arguably the best overall SMG in Battlefield 6. While it’s among the top three SMGs in terms of damage, it also stands out for being incredibly easy to handle, with minimal recoil.
This weapon has excellent range for an SMG, with damage starting to decrease noticeably around 35 meters, but still dealing significant damage. While it doesn’t quite match the overall damage of assault rifles or light machine guns, its combination of good damage and high accuracy often makes it a stronger choice than some of the current assault rifles.
QBZ-192 (Carbine)

Many players are finding that carbines are some of the most accurate weapons in *Battlefield 6*, and the QBZ-192 is a prime example. While not *quite* as accurate as the AK-205, it’s still very precise and deals good damage. It’s a versatile weapon that doesn’t necessarily kill the fastest, but it’s incredibly reliable and easy to use, making it a great all-around choice for players.
18.5KS-K (Shotgun)

Okay, I’m honestly a little shocked to see a Shotgun doing so well in *Battlefield*. Usually, these big maps are all about long-range stuff, right? While shotguns always have trouble out in the open, if I *need* to clear out a building or capture an objective up close, the 18.5KS-K feels totally busted – like, seriously overpowered for that job.
The 18.5KS-K is a fast-firing, semi-automatic shotgun. It has the best hip-fire accuracy of any shotgun in the game. This combination of rapid shooting, good mobility, and easy control makes it the strongest shotgun overall, but it’s very challenging to unlock.
M2010 ESR (Sniper Rifle)

If you’re looking for a reliable sniper rifle, the M2010 ESR is a great choice. It’s one of three options, but it stands out with the second-fastest bullets and the best movement speed, letting you quickly take shots from far away and change positions. It also aims as quickly as the SV-98, and offers a good balance of control, making it a consistent and well-rounded weapon.
A-Tier
B36A4 (Assault Rifle)

Okay, so I’ve been messing around with the B36A4 in *Battlefield 6*, and it’s seriously good. It does a ton of damage at pretty much any range, which is awesome. It’s super versatile – I can actually use it effectively in both medium and long-range fights. The fire rate is really solid too. Sure, each bullet doesn’t do *massive* damage on its own, but you’re firing so quickly that it doesn’t even matter. You just lay down a constant stream of bullets and things go down fast!
The main downside of the B36A4 is that it gets shaky when fired continuously, making it less accurate at long distances. However, if you manage the recoil, it’s one of the most dependable and versatile weapons available.
AK-205 (Carbine)

The AK-205 is currently considered one of the best weapons in the game. While its damage isn’t as high as some other carbines, its fast fire rate makes up for it, keeping its time-to-kill competitive. What really sets the AK-205 apart is how easy it is to control and use.
The AK-205 is very easy to handle, with little spread and predictable recoil. This makes it a great choice for new players, but it’s also effective in fights at medium and long distances.
M4A1 (Carbine)

The M4A1 is a very popular weapon, mainly because players can use it from the start of the game. But, it’s known for being inaccurate when shooting at distant targets, even with careful, controlled shots. This raises the question: what makes the M4A1 a good choice for players?
The M4A1 is surprisingly powerful, quickly eliminating opponents. In many situations, it actually outperforms some submachine guns. It’s especially effective in close and medium-range combat. To maximize its potential and improve consistency, players should focus on mastering its recoil control while leveling up its Mastery rank.
M433 (Assault Rifle)

The M433 is very similar to the M4A1, though it’s a little less powerful. Like the M4A1, it’s not very accurate at long distances when firing rapidly and can be difficult to control. However, the M433 is very fast at eliminating enemies up close, making it a good weapon for players who like to rush in and attack. It has a very quick ‘time to kill’ in close quarters.
The M433 deals about the same damage as the M4A1, but fires a little slower, resulting in slightly lower overall damage per second (DPS). However, the difference is small enough that most players won’t notice it and can choose whichever gun they prefer.
PW7A2 (SMG)

The PW7A2 is a strong contender for one of the best submachine guns in the game. It’s instantly recognizable as the popular MP7, which many players will appreciate, but it’s also a very effective weapon. Skilled players can be incredibly dangerous with it at close range.
The PW7A2 isn’t the most powerful weapon in terms of single-shot damage, but it makes up for it with a very fast firing rate, resulting in solid overall damage output. It’s also surprisingly easy to control, offering good accuracy for consistent medium-range shots. However, don’t rely on it to quickly eliminate enemies with just a few hits.
SL9 (SMG)

The SL9 is a great, reliable submachine gun. If you’re looking for a dependable weapon that performs well at medium distances, the SL9 is a strong option. It deals good damage and has very little bloom and recoil, which can make it a better choice than other SMGs. Although it doesn’t fire as quickly as some, its overall versatility keeps it highly ranked.
UMG-40 (SMG)

The UMG-40 is a strong alternative to the SL9, offering similar performance as a mid-range submachine gun. It’s a great option for players until they unlock the SL9. The main difference is that the UMG-40 fires just a bit slower, despite dealing the same amount of damage.
SGX (SMG)

The SGX is currently a very popular weapon, as it’s the standard SMG available to all players. It’s incredibly fast at eliminating opponents, second only to the KV9. With the third-highest fire rate and good damage, it has a remarkably quick time-to-kill.
The SGX has a noticeable amount of recoil and bullet spread, especially at medium range. It’s not unusable, but you’ll definitely feel it. However, in close-quarters combat, the SGX is an excellent choice and a reliable weapon for players.
M123K (LMG)

Okay, so LMGs aren’t exactly top-tier in Battlefield 6. They’re kinda clunky, slow to move with, and take some getting used to. But once you push through that learning curve, the M123K is seriously amazing – it’s a total beast and quickly became my go-to!
The M123K boasts the fastest rate of fire of any Light Machine Gun, all while dealing a consistent 25 damage per bullet. This powerful combination leads to a very quick time-to-kill, putting it on par with popular weapons like the M433. However, the M123K is much more manageable in terms of recoil and features a large magazine, making it ideal for quickly eliminating multiple enemies or providing covering fire.
L110 (LMG)

The L110 is the first Light Machine Gun players will unlock. It’s incredibly powerful at medium range, dealing similar damage to the M123K but with a slightly slower rate of fire. The L110 is more adaptable to different combat distances and boasts excellent bullet speed. Like other LMGs, though, it has a slow aim-down-sights speed.
SV-98 (Sniper Rifle)

All three sniper rifles are good choices, but many players are currently preferring the SV-98, and it’s easy to see why. It’s significantly better for close-range sniping thanks to its incredibly fast aim-down-sights speed. While its bullets aren’t the fastest, it’s still relatively easy to control.
PSR (Sniper Rifle)

The PSR is the last of the unlockable Sniper Rifles, and it’s a solid choice, especially for long distances. Its excellent bullet speed makes it really shine in those situations. However, it’s the slowest of the three rifles when aiming down sights and reloading, making it a bit less agile overall.
M1014 (Shotgun)

The M1014 is comparable to the 18.5KS-K, as it’s another semi-automatic shotgun. While it deals a bit more damage and maintains the same damage at a distance, the M1014 isn’t as accurate when hip-firing and has a slower rate of fire. Even so, the M1014 is still a reliable choice for players seeking a good shotgun.
B-Tier
USG-90 (SMG)

If you want a submachine gun that deals a lot of damage quickly and has plenty of ammo, the USG-90 is a great choice. It comes with a 50-round magazine and one of the fastest fire rates in the game, making it excellent for quickly eliminating enemies in close quarters and while moving around. However, it does have some recoil and its bullets spread out a bit, which can make it less accurate than other SMGs.
RPKM (LMG)

The RPKM isn’t the quickest or lightest LMG, but it offers a good trade-off: it aims a little faster than other similar weapons and deals significant damage. Its smaller magazine allows for quicker reloads, making it feel more like a reliable assault rifle than a traditional LMG. Players who prefer to move quickly will also appreciate its solid accuracy, which is good enough for support roles, even if it’s not perfectly precise.
KTS100 MK8 (LMG)

As a fan, I’ve been really impressed with the KTS100 MK8. It’s seriously quick – right up there with the RPKM when it comes to aiming down sights, and way faster than most other light machine guns. Honestly, it doesn’t *feel* like a typical, bulky LMG at all. It handles more like a heavier assault rifle, which is awesome. It does have a little recoil, sure, but it’s way more controlled than other LMGs I’ve tried. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not the most powerful LMG out there, but the speed and handling make up for it!
M240L (LMG)

The M240L continues the trend of lightweight LMGs, offering a reliable and quick option in its class. While it doesn’t quite match the RPKM or KTS100 MK8 in terms of raw damage, its faster rate of fire keeps it competitive. However, the M240L’s bullets travel slower than those of other LMGs, making it most effective in close-quarters combat.
SG 553R (Carbine)

The SG 553R is a bit of a double-edged sword when you first get it. It’s incredibly powerful and can eliminate enemies quickly, but it also has significant recoil that some players might find difficult to control. If you’re willing to learn its quirks and use attachments to reduce the recoil, the SG 553R can become a consistently effective and dependable weapon.
M417 A2 (Carbine)

The M417 A2 carbine is very similar to the SG 553R, though it fires a bit slower and has slightly better control. The main downside is its smaller magazine, holding only 20 bullets initially. But, by leveling up the M417 A2 through Mastery, you can overcome these weaknesses.
M277 (Carbine)

If you enjoy using the M417 A2, you might also like the M277. While it’s a little harder to control and deals slightly less damage overall, the M277 shares the M417 A2’s small magazine size. But with practice and the right attachments, it can become a powerful weapon.
C-Tier
SOR-556 MK2 (Assault Rifle)

The SOR-556 MK2 isn’t a popular weapon, and it’s easy to understand why. It fires relatively slowly and doesn’t do a lot of damage compared to other guns. However, its accuracy is decent, letting players hit their targets consistently. Despite this, it’s generally not considered one of the best weapons in the game.
L85A3 (Assault Rifle)

Generally, the L85A3 performs much like the SOR-556 MK2. It fires a little quicker and can deal more damage per second with consistent accuracy, and its bullets travel faster. However, it’s noticeably harder to control and less precise right out of the box.
KV9 (SMG)

The KV9’s low ranking will likely be controversial, considering it’s the fastest weapon at eliminating enemies among all submachine guns, mainly due to its incredibly high fire rate. It’s also relatively easy to control. So, what’s the downside? The biggest problem is that its fast firing speed combined with a small magazine means players only have enough ammo to defeat one opponent at a time. While an extended magazine can help, this limitation really hinders the gun’s usefulness early in the game.
SCW-10 (SMG)

Okay, so the SCW-10 feels a *lot* like the KV9. It’s got a crazy fast rate of fire, which means you can drop people super quickly – some people think it’s a bit too strong, honestly. The damage is a little higher than the KV9, but because it doesn’t fire quite as fast overall, the time-to-kill isn’t *that* much better. And just like the KV9, the magazine is tiny! It’s really a weapon for getting quick kills in close-range, one-on-one fights, because you’ll be reloading *constantly* if you try to take on multiple enemies.
DRS-IAR (LMG)

The DRS-IAR is considered a lower-tier weapon, and there are a few reasons for that. It doesn’t deal as much damage as some other Light Machine Guns, and its accuracy can be tricky at long ranges. However, with a little practice, the DRS-IAR can become a very powerful LMG.
The DRS-IAR can be surprisingly effective if you focus on controlling its range and recoil by firing in short bursts. This helps overcome its usual inaccuracy and lets you quickly defeat enemies, especially at closer distances. What really sets this weapon apart, though, is how accurate it is when fired from the hip – it’s better than most light machine guns, and you can improve it even further for reliable performance in close-range fights.
GRT-BC (Carbine)

The GRT-BC isn’t a terrible weapon, and can actually be pretty good if players use it like a submachine gun instead of a rifle. It has surprisingly good speed and is easy to handle at close range. However, there are simply better choices for close-quarters fighting, which means the GRT-BC doesn’t stand out much.
M87A1 (Shotgun)

The M87A1 is the final weapon in the C-Tier and the first Shotgun players will unlock. This pump-action Shotgun can eliminate enemies with a single shot at close range. However, it’s harder to control than the other shotguns and has the slowest firing speed.
D-Tier

Now let’s look at D-Tier, which includes several weaker weapons. While some of these weapons can still be useful if played well, they generally aren’t as good as those in higher tiers.
- M250 (LMG)
- AK4D (Assault Rifle)
- TR-7 (Assault Rifle)
- M60 (LMG)
- M39 EMR (DMR)
- SVK-8.6 (DMR)
- SVDM (DMR)
F-Tier

Finally, we have F-Tier, which includes some of the least effective guns in Battlefield 6. While skilled players might still be able to win with these weapons, they generally aren’t as strong as better options and are usually not recommended. Here’s a look at all the guns in the F-Tier.
- M45A1 (Secondary)
- M44 (Secondary)
- LMR27 (DMR)
- P18 (Secondary)
- ES.57 (Secondary)
