At The Game Awards in December 2024, Naughty Dog unveiled a new original series titled “Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet“. The captivating in-game trailer for “Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet” showcases an entirely fresh sci-fi environment set in an alternate timeline, where space travel advanced dramatically in the 1980s, incorporating numerous real-world references. The trailer also introduced Jordan A. Mun, a bounty hunter character portrayed by Tati Gabrielle, and hinted at several other well-known actors as part of the game’s ensemble cast.

Amongst the actors showcased was Tony Dalton, who gained recognition for his performances as Lalo Salamanca in Better Call Saul and Jack Duquesne in Hawkeye. In a recent episode of The Last of Us Season 2 (Episode 6), Dalton played Javier Miller, Joel’s father, in a series of poignant flashbacks. Neil Druckmann, the head of Naughty Dog, recently shared with Entertainment Weekly that he was deeply moved by Dalton’s performance and quickly extended an invitation for him to join Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. In reference to Dalton’s role in the game, Druckmann stated that he instantly thought of Dalton and offered the part to him right away.

The trailer suggests that Dalton, Chang, Nanjiani, and Gabrielle are part of a team called the “Five Aces,” but it seems they have some sort of conflict as Jordan is seen chasing Colin for a bounty in the trailer’s final scene.

For now, the specifics about the reasons for the Five Aces’ disagreement, Jordan’s purpose in pursuing Colin, and Dalton’s part in “Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet” are being kept confidential.
