As a seasoned gamer with a soft spot for Metroidvanias, I couldn’t contain my excitement when I heard about Biomorph’s arrival on PlayStation 5! Having played and enjoyed its PC version, I can attest to the unique charm this game offers, thanks to its intricate hand-drawn art and captivating biomorphic ability.


Following its debut on PC platforms like Steam and Epic Games Store, the MetroidVania game, Biomorph, has also been released for PlayStation 5.

In a recent announcement, Lucid Dreams Studio disclosed the game’s pricing ($19.99/£15.99) and emphasized that it has been supported by gaming giant Ubisoft through their Ubisoft RADAR investment program.

In our Steam review, we awarded Biomorph an 8 out of 10, praising it as an engaging Metroidvania with a unique central mechanic and numerous helpful elements. Transforming among various creatures to navigate the map is consistently enjoyable, and the option to save screenshots of suspicious areas simplifies the process of discovering hidden secrets. While some players may find it challenging, if you’re a fan of the Metroidvania genre like myself, it’s definitely worth giving it a try.
