In April 2025, Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment plan to unveil their new Star Wars strategy game with a turn-based combat system.
The announcement, which will be made during Star Wars Celebration Japan starting on April 18, 2025, was officially confirmed on the official Star Wars website.
On April 19th, the new Star Wars turn-based tactics game will be unveiled live on the ‘Galaxy Stage’. You’re invited to join Bit Reactor, in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games, for an exclusive first glimpse of this upcoming game.
After a leak in January 2025, the official announcement was made stating that Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment were preparing to announce something at Star Wars Celebration Japan.
Announced in January 2022, Respawn Entertainment and Bit Reactor are collaborating on a Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game set in the Star Wars universe, with industry veteran Greg Foerstch leading the project at Bit Reactor. While Respawn will be responsible for creating the new Star Wars strategy game, Bit Reactor will primarily oversee the development of this title.
