As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent navigating labyrinthine game worlds, I must say that my adventure in Black Myth: Wukong has been nothing short of exhilarating. The game has tested my skills, pushed my patience, and left me utterly bewildered at times – much like life itself.
In the fourth chapter of the game “Black Myth: Wukong,” located in the “Wet Cavern” region, you’ll find a mysterious artifact called the Proto-Armourworm. After picking it up, some players might be puzzled about how to use this Item because its description offers no clues.
In Black Myth: Wukong, this thorough manual provides information about locating the Proto-Armourworm and the various actions players can perform with it when they acquire it.
This particular Element has no bearing whatsoever on the plot, so players are free to disregard it if their primary interest lies in advancing the storyline or conquering numerous game bosses instead.
Where To Find Proto-Armourworm
As an avid explorer, to unearth the elusive Proto-Armourworm, I’ve got to make my way to the Verdure Bridge Keeper’s Shrine nestled within Webbed Hollow first. Once there, cross the tiny, cracked wooden bridge and veer left to trigger a scene. Post the scene, proceed right through the doorway, ransack the chests. Subsequently, push through the broken wall, and voila! You’ll find yourself in an external area where you’ll engage with the formidable Elder Armourworm boss.
Following the battle with your supervisor, you’ll obtain the Proto-Armourworm Key, which allows you to move on to the next phase.
What To Do With Proto-Armourworm
As a gamer, I found myself in possession of the Proto-Armourworm. My next mission was to make my way to the mysterious Zodiac Village. This hidden location can be accessed only after successfully completing Chen Loong’s questline, a journey that culminates in a showdown against him as a boss. For those seeking this secret area, I strongly recommend referring to the guide on how to find and reach the enigmatic Zodiac Village.
In the heart of Zodiac Village, seek out Chen Loong – he’s the one I’ve been referring to as the Proto-Armourworm. Bring him the Proto-Armourworm the mysterious artifact you found, and he’ll inspect it for us. After a well-deserved rest at the Keeper’s Shrine, look around the area where Seeds are harvested – that’s where you’ll find the Proto-Armourworm again. You’ll see an option to feed him there. To nourish this creature, you’ll require three Rice Cocoons, and those can be found in the Webbed Hollow. Head over to any Keeper’s Shrine within the Webbed Hollow, then search for breakable cocoons. There’s a good chance a Rice Cocoon will drop from them when broken.
1. Gather three items, make your way back to Zodiac Village, and give the Proto-Armourworm food on three separate occasions. Remember to take a break after each feeding. Once you’ve rested for the third time, you can obtain the Elder Armourworm Spirit.
