Black Ops 6: All Zombies Power-Up & Their Effects

Black Ops 6: All Zombies Power-Up & Their Effects

As a seasoned Black Ops player with countless hours under my belt, I must say that these Power-Ups are a game changer! From the instant armor repair of Max Armor to the instant Field Upgrade charge of Full Power, each one brings its unique advantage to the table.

Since their introduction in the initial map, “Call of Duty Zombies” has consistently featured special abilities known as Power-Ups. These Power-Ups have brought about a mix of joy when a Max Ammo drops and disappointment when a seemingly useless one appears. However, which of these Power-Ups will be included in the upcoming “Black Ops 6 Zombies”?

9 Power-ups are found in the game ‘Black Ops 6 Zombies’, with 8 of them being obtained either as random rewards from defeating zombies or by finding hidden free Power-ups in Terminus and Liberty Falls. If you’re curious about what each Power-up does in ‘Black Ops 6’, you can find that information provided below.

Max Ammo

Refills Everyone’s Ammunition

Black Ops 6: All Zombies Power-Up & Their Effects

Max Ammo is the classic Power-Up that everyone loves, and players who run into this glowing green beauty will find all of the ammo returned to the stock and magazine of both of their guns. Everyone in-game will receive the Max Ammo, and nobody needs to reload to maximize ammo gains, as bullets are immediately placed into the magazine. Max Ammos are somewhat common thanks to Ammo Boxes around the map for players to buy more ammo, and Max Ammo rounds with Parasites/Vermin occur every 5 to 6 rounds. It’s also worth noting that Max Ammo replenishes ammunition, and not charges for lethal and tactical equipment.

Double Points

Double Essence Gains for 30 Seconds

Black Ops 6: All Zombies Power-Up & Their Effects

In this game version, players will be given a 30-second timer during which they’ll earn twice the usual Essence for each enemy they eliminate. This means that an ordinary kill can net you 200 Essence if you take cover at Perk Machines, and a staggering 230 Essence when you successfully clear out a horde of zombies through strategic critical hits, as opposed to just 115 per kill otherwise.

Insta-Kill

Kill Zombies in One-Hit for 30 Seconds, but Special & Elite Enemies Just Take More Damage

Black Ops 6: All Zombies Power-Up & Their Effects

In a 30-second timeframe, Insta-Kill allows players to effortlessly eliminate all zombies since their health points are slashed to the minimum. Any weapon, be it a firearm or melee tool, can instantly obliterate zombies, making it ideal for high-rounds when their health soars, or simply for scoring critical hit kills for zombie camouflage purposes. However, Insta-Kill does not apply to Special and Elite enemies, but it does amplify the damage Manglers and Amalgams sustain, as well as Abominations, making them much simpler to eliminate.

Fire Sale

All Mystery Boxes Spawn in and Cost 10 Essence for 30 Seconds

Black Ops 6: All Zombies Power-Up & Their Effects

During a Fire Sale event, the Mystery Box will appear at random locations across the map. Instead of its regular cost of 950 Essence, each appearance will only set you back 10 Essence. For the duration of the sale, which lasts for 30 seconds, players can spin the box multiple times in an attempt to obtain the Ray Gun or the map-specific Wonder Weapon.

Nuke

All Spawned Zombies Die Instantly, and Special/Elite Zombies are Injured

Black Ops 6: All Zombies Power-Up & Their Effects

Using the Nuclear Power-Up is incredibly beneficial for jumping over multiple game rounds or surviving endless waves of zombie attacks. When you acquire the Nuclear Power-Up, a brilliant flash of light occurs, instantly vaporizing every zombie. There will be a short pause before more undead appear, but all those that were already on the map will be deceased, except for Elite and Special Zombies who will lose a significant portion of their health instead. Activating a Nuke also rewards you with 400 Essence.

Bonus Points

Everyone Receives 500 Essence

A more engaging way of expressing this could be: The Bonus Points Power-Up seems underwhelming compared to other options, since it delivers a fixed boost of 500 Essence. While it’s beneficial in early rounds when players are trying to purchase Perks and enhance their weapons via Pack-a-Punch, many gamers would prefer having an Instant Kill ability over using this Power-Up in later rounds, as acquiring the equivalent of 5 kills feels less effective compared to a single instant kill.

Full Power

All Players Have Their Field Upgrades Instantly Charged

In the game Black Ops 6, Field Upgrades are indispensable, particularly when equipped with suitable Augments that make them exceptionally potent and an ideal addition for high-round combat. With Full Power, players can instantly activate their Field Upgrade without needing to recharge it through fresh kills. Players can grab a Full Power Power-Up while their Field Upgrade is already in effect to add another charge to it.

Max Armor

Repairs All Armor

Black Ops 6: All Zombies Power-Up & Their Effects

Max Armor may seem underwhelming in the early stages of play due to players preferring the Demonic Announcer’s “Max Ammo” announcement. However, its usefulness becomes apparent during prolonged rounds. Max Armor instantly refills all players’ armor plates without requiring the actual use of those plates, which can be beneficial or not depending on the player’s current armor level. For those sporting Tier 3 armor, a crucial asset for extended play, this feature allows their armor to self-repair instantaneously, enabling them to withstand more attacks – as higher rounds see zombies dealing significantly more damage, causing armor to break alarmingly frequently.

Random Perk

Provides a Random Perk-a-Cola

Black Ops 6: All Zombies Power-Up & Their Effects

Random Perk is not an ordinary Power-Up, and it cannot be acquired through the usual means of killing zombies. Instead, the Random Perk Power-Up is a reward for completing easter eggs and side quests with Terminus and Liberty Falls. When picking up the Random Perk Power-Up, every player will receive a completely random Perk-a-Cola that is not in their current loadout, whether that be Jugger-Nog or Elemental Pop, or more.
