Black Ops 6 beta’s synced progression means you won’t miss out on MW3 & Warzone rewards

As a seasoned CoD player with countless hours spent on Modern Warfare and Warzone, I can confidently say that this recent announcement about Black Ops 6‘s beta progressing the Season 5 Battle Pass is music to my battle-scarred ears! It’s been a while since we’ve had such a seamless integration between different games in the series.

Great news! Playing the beta of Black Ops 6 will advance your Season 5 Battle Pass in both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.

Finishing Call of Duty’s Battle Passes yields more CoD Points than you initially spend, creating a compelling reason to complete them before the next season begins. If you haven’t wrapped up the Season 5 Battle Pass yet, you might have been concerned that two weekends spent playing Black Ops 6 could slow your progress.

Fortunately, Activision made it clear in their Season 5 Reloaded blog that “Everyone participating will gain Battle Pass experience as they play the Black Ops Cold War Beta.” The Early Access Beta spans from August 30 to September 4, followed by an Open Beta from September 6 to 9. This means there’s ample opportunity for everyone to test it out before its official release on October 25.

In 2021, the Vanguard beta used to enhance your Cold War and Warzone Battle Pass, but it no longer does. Instead, the beta for Modern Warfare 3 granted you a one-hour Battle Pass Experience (XP) Token for every day you logged in.

In the lead-up to Modern Warfare 3, players were able to progress their Season 6 Battle Pass from Modern Warfare 2. However, as of now, it’s undetermined if Black Ops 6 will offer a similar feature.

In simpler terms, completing MW3 Season 5’s Battle Pass should be relatively easy due to several factors. Firstly, participating in the beta for Black Ops 6 will help you progress through the Battle Pass. Secondly, daily login rewards include a bonus of three hours of doubled Battle Pass XP. Lastly, logging in after Season 5 Reloaded grants you ten tier skips and an additional ten Battle Pass XP tokens.

A trick that could work (but I make no guarantee) is logging into MW3 or Warzone, popping a Battle Pass XP Token, then switching to the Black Ops 6 beta. The Double XP Token could still work but I wouldn’t recommend testing it with anything more than a 15-minute token.

In addition, during the beta testing phase, you might encounter opportunities to obtain rewards such as Operator skins, blueprints, and calling cards. However, the specific items in the reward lineup have not been disclosed at this time.
