In the campaigns of Call of Duty: Black Ops, intricate mini-puzzles are often integrated into the narrative, and this tradition persists in Black Ops 6 through its Safehouse feature. Introduced in both Black Ops Cold War and Black Ops 3, the Safehouse in BO6 provides a set of puzzles that grant players some in-game currency, a complimentary Weapon Blueprint, and a console trophy upon completion. This article offers a comprehensive guide to help you navigate these secret challenges and collect your rewards.
How to Complete Safehouse Puzzles in Black Ops 6 Campaign
In order to crack the codes for the hidden safes in the campaign of Black Ops 6, you’ll have to go through a sequence of actions to eventually discover the safe located on the upper level of The Manor.
Activate the Basement Generator
- Head to the basement and into the Generator room.
- Interact with the Fuel once to set the meter to half-full.
- Interact with the Boiler twice to set the meter to the left.
- Turn the Pilot on.
- Interact with the Boiler twice again to set it to the right.
- If done correctly, a bell will start ringing, and you won’t be able to interact with the Generator again.
Locate and Play the Piano Sequence
- Head to the piano room in the Safehouse.
- Pick up the blacklight right next to the fireplace.
- Use the blacklight to locate the piano sequence marked on the walls.
- Approach the piano, toggle the blacklight, and play the symbol sequence from the wall in order (Mn, Pr, Cn, Ao, Pe).
- If done correctly, the secret door right next to the piano will open.
Find the Keypad Code
To solve the Keypad code, you’ll need to use the blacklight to locate the numbers that were previously entered (you will see a fingerprint over the ones that might work) and try combinations with these numbers. The code is random for each one, so you must find the correct one for your BO6 play session.
Remember that each entry you make will have a specific color:
Hack the Computer
- Enter the Keypad room.
- Translate the numbered Code Word located at the top of the screen into words.
- While the order of the words will change depending on the play session, these should be the words you need: Holding, Open, Room, and Bunker.
Grab the Key
- Head to the Interrogation room, located on the right once you exit the computer room.
- Complete the lockpicking minigame.
- Enter the room and grab the key from the desk.
Decipher the Radio Broadcast
- Head to the remaining room which will be able to open with the key.
- Interact with the radio.
- Turn the Amplitude and Frequency dials until they turn green.
- Listen to the Russian voice’s broadcast and isolate the objects it mentions.
- Next, search the objects around the room to find the four-digit code. Each object will have a number.
Keep in mind that the provided code changes for each session, so you will need to locate the appropriate one for your specific case by matching it with the audio you receive.
Crack the Safehouse Safe
After obtaining the four-digit code, navigate to the Safe on the upper level and input it. This action will reward you with $1,000 in virtual currency, ‘The Puzzles, Mason’ Trophy, and the blueprint for the ‘Case Cracker’ Melee Weapon.
