2024 sees the comeback of CODMAS featuring Black Ops 6 and Warzone, offering a variety of holiday-themed rewards and surprises for gamers. With the festive atmosphere in mind, Treyarch has shared insights about the upcoming CODMAS event, including the reappearance of the Nuketown Holiday map and exclusive limited-time game modes.

Here’s all the essential info on the Warzone & Black Ops Cold War CODMAS event, covering the release date and anticipated features.

When is CODMAS event in Black Ops 6 & Warzone?

The developers haven’t given us a specific date for the Black Ops 6 CODMAS event just yet, but based on when it was released last year, we’re anticipating it will show up around mid-December, possibly on Tuesday the 17th.

The event is undeniably coming up, since the blog post for Black Ops 6’s Season 1 has confirmed its upcoming arrival, together with Nuketown Holiday – a festive version of the famous map, due to be released in the days preceding CODMAS.

Last year’s CODMAS event took place from December 19 to January 3, which suggests that this year’s event might also last approximately two weeks. However, please note that this is merely speculation, so consider it with a grain of salt. Treyarch is expected to announce the event details soon, and we will update this information as soon as they do.

In the same manner as last year’s CODMAS event, BO6 players can anticipate a game interface featuring numerous rewards for their participation. These incentives are likely to be cosmetic items such as Charms, Calling Cards, Emblems, Weapon Blueprints, and possibly an Operator skin. Additionally, we predict the appearance of holiday-themed store packs.

Besides delicious incentives, CODMAS will offer themed playfields and seasonal game modes such as Santa’s Slayground, which may either be a fresh concept or an updated version from last year.

Additionally, it’s expected that Warzone could introduce a special Christmas-themed game mode, though fans may cross their fingers that this doesn’t bring back Krampus, the menacing figure who once turned the holiday season into a relentless battlefield by becoming an indomitable force in multiplayer matches.
