Black Ops 6: How to Pack-a-Punch on Citadelle des Morts

As a seasoned zombie slayer with over a decade of undead annihilation under my belt, let me walk you through my preferred route to Pack-a-Punch in the hauntingly beautiful Citadelle des Morts.

To make it through multiple rounds in Black Ops 6 Zombies, it’s crucial that players utilize the Pack-a-Punch feature. It’s just as important as Jugger-Not and Tier 3 Armor. If you’re planning to brave the terrifying labyrinth of the Citadelle des Morts, understanding how to activate Pack-a-Punch could mean the difference between life and death. This upgrade will significantly enhance your weapon’s power, thereby increasing your chances of survival.

In Black Ops 6 Zombies, activating the Pack-a-Punch machine in Citadelle des Morts might seem straightforward, but it will undeniably cost players a significant amount of Essence points. Here are two possible paths for reaching the Pack-a-Punch and some crucial tips to help players speed up the process:

In the Citadelle des Morts’ Route A, you’ll need to purchase a total of 6 doors to unlock Pack-a-Punch. This action will cost a player 7,500 points in total.

Upon appearing in the Town Square, players should head left initially to find a locked door leading to the Nature Path. This path requires 750 Essence to unlock. Continue along the dirt path until you reach the Hilltop area where another locked gate can be bought for 1,000 Essence. Once acquired, players will be in the Courtyard, where they can open either the left or right door for 500 Essence each; opening one will automatically unlock the other as well.

Utilize either Elemental Pop or Melee Macchiato to gain access to any of these rooms, leading you up a set of stairs towards the upper section of the Courtyard. Here, players are required to direct the cannon at the Entrance Hall. To accomplish this task, simply approach the cannon and press the interaction key. Your character will adjust the cannon’s direction so it targets the locked castle doors. If you release the cannon before its path is complete, it will reset. After positioning the cannon correctly, interact with the back of it to launch a fireball that destroys the Entrance Hall doors.

Starting from within the main foyer, veer left after passing Jugger-Nog, and you’ll find yourself at a spot where players can buy another sealed door for 1,500 Essence. This path leads into the Sitting Rooms, followed by a walk past Stamin-Up that ends at a second locked door requiring 1,750 Essence. As you progress, you’ll encounter the Undercroft Stairway, which is your sixth and last stop before reaching the Pack-a-Punch room for 2,000 Essence, culminating in the Oubliette Room.

Inside the Oubliette Room, a blue supply container stands in the center, secured by three locks. Players can choose to destroy these locks using gunfire or physical attacks to unveil the contents of the container. It’s important to be aware that the container conceals a startling surprise – within lies the unique zombie adversary from Citadelle des Morts: the Doppelghast. As soon as players break all three locks, the Doppelghast will emerge, and parasites will follow suit, adding extra damage through projectiles.

The Doppelghast, being a Special Zombie of the same class as Manglers, doesn’t boast a lot of health, but it’s incredibly dangerous. This creature is exceptionally swift and can pose a threat both at close range and from afar. It’s advisable to open the crate only when you have a weapon that’s well-upgraded with Salvage, and for added safety, consider using Jugger-Nog too.

Following the elimination of the Doppelganger, it yields a Blood Aetherium Crystal. By utilizing this crystal on the blue crate, players can summon Pack-a-Punch which remains stationary throughout the game at that location indefinitely. Here’s the pricing structure for activating Pack-a-Punch:

  • Tier 1 – 5,000 Essence
  • Tier 2 – 15,000 Essence
  • Tier 3 – 30,000 Essence

The Sword Wonder Weapons cannot be Pack-a-Punched

6 doors must be purchased along Route B for the Pack-a-Punch in Citadelle des Morts, costing a total of 7,500 points.

As a passionate player, I find myself teleported into the bustling Town Square at the game’s onset. To move forward, it’s best to veer right, heading eastward past the grand statue to unlock a hidden door that requires 750 Essence. Then, traverse through the Upper Village and invest another 1,000 Essence to open the obstructing doorway leading to the tranquil Courtyard.

Once you’ve gained entry into the Entrance Hall, proceed past Jugger-Nog and ascend the stairs on your right side. This path leads you to a spot where you can buy another door for 1,500 Essence. Following this tunnel will bring you to the Dining Hall, where you’ll discover Vulture Aid and another door priced at 1,750 Essence. Continuing through the Dining Hall Passage, you’ll reach the Dungeon Stairway. At the end of the dungeon, you’ll find your sixth and last door for 2,000 Essence. After opening this door from the dungeon, you’ll gain access to the Oubliette Room, where you should get ready to engage in battle with the Doppelghast hidden inside the blue crate.
