As a seasoned survivor of Black Ops 6 Zombies, I can attest to the indispensable role that loot plays in our quest for survival and progression on Terminus Island. The thrill of finding a Loot Key is unparalleled, as it opens the door to a treasure trove of rewards that could potentially change the tide of battle.
In the game Black Ops 6 Zombies, gathering resources (or ‘loot’) is crucial for survival. If players aim to reach high rounds and experience the excitement of new enhancements and levels, it’s important to find the optimal resource source, especially when confronting the terrors of Terminus Island.
During their adventures on Terminus Island, players may discover a Loot Key. But where do you apply this Black Ops 6 Zombies treasure? Although Terminus is full of mysteries, it’s not unusual for one of them to be slightly tricky to find. However, the process to unlock the Armory and use Loot Keys is quite straightforward.
How to Get Loot Keys
Initially, players should aim to obtain a Loot Key. These keys can randomly appear when defeating mini-bosses such as Manglers and Amalgams. Once these enemies have been vanquished, inspect their loot and you might find a Loot Key among the items they dropped. Additionally, players could potentially receive a Loot Key upon finishing a S.A.M. Trial; however, this also depends on the success rate, with a flawless Legendary completion yielding more rewards.
As a player, I’d rather hold onto my Green and Blue rarity Loot Keys and hope for a fortunate find of a Purple or Orange Loot Key instead. These higher-tier keys yield the best rewards when finally utilized. So, it seems wiser to let the lower-tier keys be and wait for that lucky drop!
How to Unlock the Armory
You can open loot boxes on the yellow lockers found within the Armory, situated in the lower level of the Control Center. This room is located just left of Stamin-Up. To access it, simply approach the closed door in the corner of the room on the left, and a prompt to enter the Armory will pop up. After entering, you have approximately 45 seconds to utilize your Loot Key, which then transforms into an Armory Key.
By employing a Loot Key in the Armory, players will receive a variety of rewards based on the rarity of the Loot Key. These rewards may include Salvage, Essence, assorted weapon tiers, Scorestreaks, and potentially, if they’re particularly fortunate, a Perk-a-Cola or Wonder Weapon.
In just 45 seconds, players will find themselves ejected from the Armory and must await the commencement of the next round before re-entering. While indoors, players can rest easy knowing that no zombies will appear within the Armory. Upon leaving, a powerful Aether blast will swiftly eliminate any roaming zombies in the Control Center.
As a dedicated fan, I’ve come to appreciate the security of the Armory, but there’s this one corner on the right side where a sneaky crawler could possibly break through from the hidden zombie spawn room.
