Black Ops 6 Players Explore New Warzone Map ‘Avalon’ in Spectator

As a seasoned Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 player with years of gaming under my belt, I must say that the recent discovery of being able to explore the upcoming Warzone map ‘Avalon’ using the spectator mode in Black Ops 6 multiplayer is quite intriguing. It’s like peeking behind the curtain and getting a sneak peek at what’s to come, which is always exciting!

Players of Black Ops 6 have discovered a method to preview the upcoming Warzone map ‘Avalon’ by utilizing the spectator mode in Black Ops 6.

Since the game’s release, continuous video recordings of players traversing the new map have been available, offering a comprehensive sneak peek into its layout and the exciting details it holds.

To load the map yourself, simple load up the multiplayer map ‘Lowtown’ in a Black Ops 6 private match and enter spectator mode, from here, you’ll be able to explore the map in full detail in the ‘Codcaster’ role.

But don’t get your hopes up just yet. Despite the map being already fully complete (and being so for a while now), it isn’t actually the next Warzone map to be released. Earlier this year, we reported that Verdansk is set to make its triumphant return first, which was a decision made around the same time as the highly popular original Fortnite map made its return and was tremendously successful.

It’s clear that Verdansk will come back at the start of 2025. The release date for Avalon, however, may vary based on how well Verdansk performs throughout the rest of the year.
