Black Ops 6 players furious as campaign early access abandoned

As a dedicated Call of Duty fan who’s spent countless hours mastering camos and dominating multiplayer matches, I must admit that the news about Black Ops 6 not having campaign early access has left me feeling a bit deflated. The past few games have allowed me to immerse myself in the story before diving headfirst into the competitive world of multiplayer, and it was always a treat to get that early start.

Man, I can’t hide my disappointment here. Turns out Activision has decided against offering early access to the campaign in Black Ops 6. And boy, the gaming community is really upset about it – especially since the early campaign access was a beloved feature that we cherished!

For the past two versions of Call of Duty, players who pre-ordered the game were given early access to the campaign a week before its official release. This allowed everyone to finish the storyline before moving on to multiplayer and starting the process of earning camouflage.

Initially, there was no announcement about Black Ops 6, which made its release seem increasingly improbable as the launch date neared. However, recent confirmation from Treyarch to CharlieIntel reveals that the game will be launched simultaneously on October 25.

This year, they announced that the community will have the freedom to explore all game modes simultaneously at once. Consequently, instead of an early access phase, we’re all counting down together towards a massive global release on October 25th for Black Ops 6.

Exciting News! As a die-hard fan, I’m sharing that Activision has confirmed there won’t be early access for the campaign of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Straight from the horse’s mouth, an Activision representative told us, “Our team is all systems go for October 25th. We’re thrilled about everything this game promises in Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies.” So, mark your calendars, fellow enthusiasts! It’s full steam ahead to October 25th!

Critics have voiced their disapproval towards Activision, asserting that the decision is a significant setback following the success of the early access phase.

Content creator KRng Apollo exclaimed, ‘What’s going on, man?!’ They seem to have an excellent judgment one year, then change their mind the following year. I can’t fathom their reasoning.

XVItheGreat stated, “This is often characteristic of Call of Duty. They make a wise choice one year, then change their mind the next.

This is typical of Call of Duty. Make a good decision one year, abandon it the next.

Another player commented, “It’s too bad; running an early access campaign was one of their wisest moves in the last five years.

Many enthusiasts have expressed that they are more likely to engage with the multiplayer and Zombies modes instead of the campaign, stating that it may not be worth playing unless it’s not completed yet. As OpTic Hitch put it, “The only scenarios in which this setup makes sense is if it hasn’t been finished.” The only campaigns he has experienced are those released early or Call of Duty 4.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to participate in this campaign as I need to focus on improving my weapons and earning the Multiplayer and Zombies Master Camo before they become available in Warzone,” said HunterTV.

Even though many people criticized the campaign of MW3, I personally found myself enjoying the game more because it was released early. If it hadn’t been, I might not have played the campaign at all. It’s unfortunate that they might be reconsidering this decision due to the negative feedback about the storyline…

Many people think it was canceled due to negative feedback about the campaign for Modern Warfare 3. Metaphor, a well-known creator, stated that he likely wouldn’t have worked on the campaign if it hadn’t been released early. He expressed regret that they might be reversing their decision because of the criticism directed at the storyline in Modern Warfare 3.

If you’re concerned about lagging in the progress of unlocking camouflages and weapons in Warzone, you might find it reassuring to know that the campaign is typically completed within a range of six to nine hours. Notably, Treyarch campaigns are often praised for being among the best the series has to offer.
