In the second season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, there will be five fresh maps added. The initial information about these maps was disclosed through the Season 2 launch trailer, but now, Activision has provided complete details on the upcoming multiplayer maps in the game.
Five fresh maps have been introduced: Bounty, Lifeline, Dealership, Grind, and Bullet. Among these, three – Bounty, Lifeline, and Dealership – will be accessible from launch on January 28, with the remaining two set to arrive during the mid-season update.
Details of each map can be found below via Activision.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Multiplayer Maps
Bounty (at launch)
The fresh map, titled “Bounty,” sets the stage for a thrilling 6v6 battle, high above the city on the rooftop penthouse of a towering Avalon skyscraper.
As I step out onto a spotless Patio, my adventure begins. I’m drawn into a lavish, golden-adorned Nightclub and Lounge, where high-rolling guests are treated to premium entertainment. The map hints that I should keep an eye out for foes lurking below the Lobby, ready to pounce from the hanging light fixtures.
Lifeline (at launch)
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but draw parallels between Lifeline and Black Ops 2’s Hijacked map, yet it feels smaller and more intensely chaotic. This compact battleground is tailored for Strike 2v2 and 6v6 modes, where you engage in intense combat on a luxurious yacht that’s ablaze in the midst of the vast ocean.
Activision advises that you’ll not have much time before a collision occurs at the center bar, casino, disco room, or stairs on either side (Portside and Starboard). Keep your eyes peeled or else you might end up overboard.
Dealership (at launch)
As a seasoned gamer, I’ve just discovered the third and final Season 2 launch map – Dealership. From the outside, it appears to be your typical car dealership in Pallasar, but step inside and you’ll find yourself in the heart of an underground black market, where vehicles are swapped for deadly weapons.
In this Car Lot and Showroom setting, fights can escalate into the adjacent Commissary and Lounge, or spill out onto the Courtyard. The description reveals that it initially presented a picturesque view. The garage doors on both sides can be opened for a surprise attack or closed to delay approaching adversaries.
Grind (mid-season)
The updated version of the map from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, known as Grind, is a mid-sized battlefield designed for 6 players. This map is set within a skatepark environment, but it also features additional combat zones such as a pro shop and an indoor stadium where you can engage your adversaries.
Take advantage of the ramps as a strategic hiding spot and a means to outmaneuver opponents. Showcase your impressive moves, such as the 360-corkscrew one-shot trick. Additionally, there’s an extra surprise tied to this map coming up later in the season, Activision hinted.
Bullet (mid-season)
To wrap up, Bullet is another compact map designed for Strike’s 2v2 and 6v6 multiplayer battles. This map transports players onto a high-speed bullet train, allowing movement between carriages with limited spaces for concealment. In case of overcrowding, combatants can venture to the train’s rooftop for battle.
Hurry past the swiftly gliding partitions between each vehicle, starting from the premium lounge, then the dining car, economy seating areas, and all the way to the driver’s cabin where the injured conductor cannot ensure a safe arrival.” (Activision pens)
