Black Ops 6 Zombies Actors Quit Over Lack Of AI Protection, It’s Claimed

As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I must say the latest development in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies mode has left me quite perplexed. The exodus of talented actors from the game, allegedly due to insufficient AI protections in their contracts, is a concerning trend that mirrors real-life labor disputes in the gaming industry.

It appears that most actors associated with the Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 have departed the game, according to recent reports from a reliable source, GhostOfHope, who claims this exodus is due to insufficient safeguards against artificial intelligence.

According to Hope, most actors from the Zombies team in Black Ops 6 Zombies have left due to insufficient AI protection in their contracts. Consequently, some of the recent character swaps you’ve noticed (for instance, SAM on Citadelle) are a result of this issue, with more potential changes expected in future maps.

Concerns of AI protection for video game actors is nothing new. SAG-AFTRA members are currently striking against game studios for that exact reason after negotiations with studios failed to deliver any sort of guarantees for actors. The strike officially began in July after 18 months of negotiations, and continues without a deal.

Among the studios currently in discussions with the union are noteworthy names like Activision Blizzard, Electronic Arts (EA), Insomniac Games, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Games, and several others.
