Black Ops 6 Zombies: All Swords, Ranked Worst to Best

Black Ops 6 Zombies: All Swords, Ranked Worst to Best

As a seasoned Zombies enthusiast with countless hours under my belt, I can confidently say that Black Ops 6 has truly outdone itself with the elemental swords in Citadelle des Morts. Each sword offers unique abilities that elevate gameplay to new heights, but only one stands above the rest.

In the game Black Ops 6 Zombies, players explore the map of Citadelle des Morts, a place teeming with zombies and medieval elements. Within this fortress of the dead, gamers can discover four swords imbued with elemental powers, which will significantly boost their performance. As they ascend through the challenging levels, these swords will help them overcome the hordes of zombie addicts that make Black Ops 6 Zombies so thrilling.

As I venture through the Citadelle des Morts with four swords within reach, I can’t help but wonder which one stands out as the ultimate weapon. Each sword has its shining moments of immense power, yet only one can truly wear the crown as the best.

4. Durendal, the Electric Sword

The Stag Sword’s Lightning Beam is a Tad Too Weak

In the game Black Ops 6, Durendal might be considered one of the less powerful Elemental Swords due to several factors. Firstly, it’s relatively simple to acquire, but this ease comes with a catch – players must invest 500 Salvage to equip a Shock Charge of the Dead Wire Ammo Mod during one specific stage. This can be frustrating, especially for those who are carefully hoarding Salvage for future gun upgrades at the Arsenal. Excluding the quest process, Durendal falls short in certain aspects and doesn’t leave a lasting impression.

Similar to other swords, it boasts a powerful base damage, particularly when used in melee combat. However, a sword that occasionally discharges Dead Wire bursts primarily for stunning zombies isn’t overly impressive. The special attack, which creates a concentrated bolt of lightning that chains to zombies much like the Wunderwaffe DG-2, appears strong but is extremely feeble. The downside is that during this attack, players’ movements are significantly limited, allowing Amalgams and Doppelgangers to endure only minor damage.

3. Solais, the Light Sword

The Lion Sword’s Ability Provides Armor, Protection, and Revives Allies

As a gamer, I’ve found myself on the hunt for Solais, the Lion Knight’s blade, which can be quite the challenge when playing in a squad within Citadelle des Morts. The catch here is that to claim it, we need to spawn 4 glowing Parasites and eliminate them using the Bastard Lion Sword. After their demise, we must carry these slain parasites to a unique door located in the Village. Once the quest is completed, Solais proves to be an exceptional sword, boasting numerous benefits.

In this game, Solais equips players with armor upon each enemy they defeat, reducing their dependence on Salvage and Armor drops from zombies for combat survival. Although the repaired armor isn’t particularly robust, using the Special Attack fully restores all armor slots. Moreover, if players find downed allies while the Special Attack is active, they will immediately be revived. This sword offers exceptional support, but armor isn’t hard to come by due to Vulture Aid, and the Special Attack functions more as a healing tool than an effective weapon, dealing minimal damage against zombies and Amalgams.

2. Caliburn, the Fire Sword

The Dragon Sword’s Fireballs are Devastating to Hordes and Doppelghasts

As a gamer, let me tell you, grabbing Caliburn is a piece of cake if you know the drill. The quest boils down to locating three flaming pyres and then transferring their fire to a dragon statue. The only catch? The fire deals 15 HP damage per second, but that’s no biggie; just take out some zombies and you’re good to go. In less than 2 minutes, you can claim this impressive sword!

The real power of Caliburn is found in its Special Attack, which isn’t just about causing Napalm Burst damage to zombies, but more so, mimicking the fiery breath of a dragon. This attack unleashes three fireballs that detonate with immense destruction. In lower rounds, this devastating impact is beneficial, but players should be cautious about the splash damage unless they have PhD Flopper. On rounds 30 and above, it might appear less effective, however, it remains an excellent method for taking down zombies and creating a clear pathway.

1. Balmung, the Dark Sword

In Citadelle des Morts, it’s widely believed that the Balmung Sword is unrivaled. Although the quest can be challenging for some, once you master the five sets of codes required, you’ll have little trouble claiming the Balmung as your own. The Raven Sword exudes an intense aura of dark magic, perfect for those undead monsters to devour.

The real advantage of the Balmung sword is found in its unique attack style, which may occasionally employ a Shadow Rift Ammo Mod to transport zombies to their demise by tearing open portals from the Dark Aether. In higher rounds, this special attack proves incredibly potent, serving as both a distraction for zombies during teammate revives and a means of escape when players find themselves in tight spots.
