Black Ops 6 Zombies: Best Tactical Equipment, Ranked

Black Ops 6 Zombies: Best Tactical Equipment, Ranked

As a seasoned zombie slayer who’s seen more than a few sunsets in the undead apocalypse, I’ve had my fair share of tactical equipment to keep the brain-eating hordes at bay. But if I were to rank these three tools that help us mortals survive the night, it would be as follows:

In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies, there’s more than just Monkey Bombs adding strategic depth to the battlefield. Players eager to learn what they can craft with their Salvage can refer to the complete list of all Tactical equipment at their disposal in the Zombies mode of Black Ops 6, and understand how one item might be crucial for survival against the onslaught, allowing them to keep fighting for another round or more.

Properly employed, Tactical Gear proves indispensable; it can neutralize the impact of a Mangler, restore players from imminent demise, or offer momentary relief to catch one’s breath and aid teammates in dire straits who are in desperate need of assistance.

7 Smoke

Hide in Smoke, But Obscure Zombies

Black Ops 6 Zombies: Best Tactical Equipment, Ranked

  • Deploys a smoke screen that blocks vision and automated targeting systems.
  • 500 Salvage
  • Unlocked at Level 17

In the array of tactical equipment for zombies in Black Ops 6, the Smoke Bomb might not seem particularly impressive to players. This is because, unlike most games, the zombies here aren’t heavily dependent on their sight. Therefore, using a smoke bomb tends to impair the player’s vision more than it disorients them amidst the aggressive and dense masses of decaying undead.

Using a Smoke Bomb can effectively halt Mangler’s cannon attack by making it difficult for the attack to follow players when they are within the smoke. However, the downside is that the smoke produced is rather limited in size and dissipates rapidly. In comparison to other tactical options available, using a Smoke Bomb might not be the most beneficial choice.

6 Shock Charge

Stun Zombies with Electricity

Black Ops 6 Zombies: Best Tactical Equipment, Ranked
  • Electrical trap that sticks to surfaces and electrocutes enemies, stunning them.
  • Unlocked at Level 42
  • 500 Salvage

The Shock Charge sets up an electrical trap on the ground, inflicting a small amount of electric harm and causing stun to nearby enemies, effectively immobilizing them. It works well against advancing and aggressive zombies like Manglers and Abominations, but it doesn’t have other significant abilities beyond this.

From a fan’s perspective, I’d say the impact isn’t too potent, and the stun duration is brief. Yet, it persists long enough for players to retreat, tend to their wounds, and regroup before the relentless horde of zombies returns, charging towards them once again.

5 Stim Shot

Quickly Apply Lost Health

Black Ops 6 Zombies: Best Tactical Equipment, Ranked
  • Combat stim that heals wounds and refreshes Tactical Sprint. Recharges on a cooldown.
  • Unlocked at Level 30
  • 250 Salvage

In the Zombies game mode, one tactic that proves particularly beneficial in multiplayer is the return of the Stim Shot, which allows players an instant boost in health beyond their usual recovery and even surpasses the potential benefits of the Quick Revive perk.

Although the Stim Shot seems like a quick solution for players who are in a tight spot and believe it will instantly restore their health while allowing them to continue slaughtering their trapped enemies, they may find themselves disillusioned. The Stim Shot ceases healing once damage is sustained, and its regeneration capabilities leave much to be desired.

4 Concussion

Temporarily Stun Zombies

Black Ops 6 Zombies: Best Tactical Equipment, Ranked
  • Grenade that slows victim’s movement and aiming.
  • 250 Salvage

In a situation where a player is being pursued by numerous zombies, using a Concussion could potentially provide some respite. This is because the Concussion has the unique quality to momentarily freeze the zombies, causing them to become disoriented and bewildered for a short period, which seems similar to their readiness for a prolonged rest or sleep.

The Concussion Grenade is also pretty funny for its trolling potential, as players can throw one into another player’s horde and watch the train get all messed up due to half of them sleeping on the job. It’s an okay tactical that’s beaten by others.

3 Decoy

Distract Zombies Temporarily

Black Ops 6 Zombies: Best Tactical Equipment, Ranked
  • Grenade that simulates foosteps and gunfire sounds to confuse enemies. Sticks to surfaces.
  • Unlocked at Level 35
  • 500 Salvage

The Decoy is essentially a more affordable version of the Monkey Bomb that performs nearly as effectively as the original. It can be hurled at great speed and distance, enabling players to resuscitate their teammates or create some space, giving them a chance to open the Mystery Box without worrying about a horde closing in and attacking them.

The Decoy can be tossed at adversaries, where it adheres to various surfaces. A horde of enemies will then swiftly move towards the Decoy until it eventually depletes. The allotted time is quite ample for it, and its immediate activation makes it an effective tool for playing catch with zombies, as their return is unavoidable.

2 Cymbal Monkey

The Classic Monkey Bomb That Distracts Zombies

Black Ops 6 Zombies: Best Tactical Equipment, Ranked
  • Attracts zombies for a short duration before exploding.
  • Unlocked at Level 18
  • 1,000 Salvage

The initial Tactical Gear stands unmatched, and what else could one ask for from the charmingly eerie Monkey Bombs? These timeless favorites have been part of the series since its inception, and they’ve managed to remain pertinent without the need for updates or enhancements.

Here’s one way to rephrase that sentence in a more natural, easy-to-read style:

1 LT53 Kazimir

The Updated and Always Powerful Gersh Device

Black Ops 6 Zombies: Best Tactical Equipment, Ranked
  • Creates a small singularity that pulls in and kills enemies.
  • Unlocked at Level 48
  • 1,500 Salvage

If gamers are familiar with the Gersh Device from previous Zombies games, they’ll understand why it outshines Monkey Bombs. In Black Ops 6, the LT53 Kazimir bestows upon players an incredible power – it can generate a black hole capable of tearing through hoards of enemies!

The compact LT52 Kazimir functions as a mobile version of the Gersh Device, causing any nearby zombies to be gradually drawn towards a singularity. Once within this vortex, they’re instantly eliminated. In tight spots, players can utilize the LT53 Kazimir for instant teleportation, similar to activating the Anywhere But Here GobbleGum!
