As a seasoned gamer with countless hours clocked into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, I can wholeheartedly empathize with TheZ0MBIE4’s plight. The Social Distancing challenge is no walk in the park, and it’s always frustrating when a seemingly random event like that long-range meat toss spoils an otherwise flawless run. It feels like being tackled by a zombie quarterback Lamar Jackson!
The game can be unpredictable at times, but moments like these make us appreciate the struggle all the more. I’ve had my fair share of “meat toss” incidents in the past – who hasn’t? The good thing is that we keep trying, because that’s what makes the victory all the sweeter when we finally clear those tough challenges.
On a lighter note, I guess we should be grateful for one thing: at least the zombies aren’t using football helmets to knock us down! Keep pushing forward, fellow gamers, and may your next attempt at the Social Distancing challenge be meat-free!
A far-off attack from a zombie in the game Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 spoiled one player’s efforts to finish the Social Distancing challenge, proving incredibly aggravating. The unpredictable nature of the strike highlighted some of the difficulties players encounter when tackling the most challenging aspects of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Players have delved deep into the first installment of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6,” where they’re unveiling fresh rewards and scrutinizing weapon modifications tailored for Season 1 Reloaded – the mid-season refresh. This revamp, accompanied by novel events and previews of DLC and other features, follows suit with the established “Call of Duty” pattern of recurring, sometimes overlapping updates to maintain the game’s vibrancy. Devoted enthusiasts are constantly offered something fresh to conquer, be it refining a new weapon or confronting challenges, old and new. Some of these challenges demand more from players than others. For instance, the “Black Ops 6” Zombies Dark Ops challenges can be exceptionally tough, serving as authentic trials of player talent and resilience.
The ordeal faced by Reddit user TheZ0MBIE4 serves as a reminder of the irritation that can arise during the “Social Distancing” Dark Oops challenge in Black Ops 6, where players aim to endure 20 rounds of Zombies without sustaining any damage. A video posted on the CODZombies subreddit forum showcases TheZ0MBIE4’s effort to obtain the Calling Card coming to a halt as a cluster of zombie flesh unexpectedly struck them in the face.
Black Ops 6 Social Distancing Run Attempt Frustrated By Long-Range Meat Toss
As a die-hard fan, I’m recounting my 13-second adventure in Black Ops 6 on Liberty Falls map, battling zombies during round 19 out of the required 20 for the Social Distancing achievement. Perched on a rooftop, I skillfully decimated the horde using a trusty semi-automatic shotgun. However, my run was cut short when, unexpectedly, a piece of meat flew up from the bottom of my screen, hitting me and causing damage, thus ending the attempt. In Call of Duty’s Zombies mode, even those zombies that can’t reach me by walking or climbing will occasionally throw chunks of meat to inflict damage from afar.
As a fan, I couldn’t help but chuckle at the hilarious zombie meat throw during the gameplay clip. It was quite astonishing that the thrower, seemingly down on the ground, managed to land such an accurate shot while TheZ0MBIE4 was battling it out on the rooftop. TheZ0MBIE4 even jokingly compared the zombie’s toss to a football quarterback like Lamar Jackson. Most of us shared our empathy for the unfortunate hit and related to the struggle in overcoming the toughest challenges in Black Ops 6‘s Dark Ops, as we all know how challenging they can be.
Some people speculated that the meat toss could have been a glitch in the game, as TheZ0MBIE4’s position was technically within reach of the zombies, which might not have allowed the zombies to initiate their ranged attacks. Additionally, some suggested a possible minor exploit used to bypass Social Distancing’s stringent rules by manipulating the game’s save system to exit one round and then restart it in an attempt to succeed. Unfortunately for TheZ0MBIE4, that specific playthrough couldn’t be salvaged, but they plan on attempting again soon.
