What is GAAAT Gallery and Why Collaborate With BLEACH?

A Japanese Art Brand Collaborates With A Highly Artistic Anime

GAAAT Art Gallery, a Japanese label dedicated to blending art and technology, crafts unique artistic experiences. One method they use for this purpose is what they refer to as “Metal Canvas Art” or MCA. According to GAAAT, Metal Canvas Art is a form of artwork that…

GAAAT has introduced an innovative form of art called Metal Canvas Art (MCA). Every piece is meticulously crafted by skilled artisans, offering a distinctive, immersive experience that emphasizes the three-dimensional aspect of the artwork, while retaining the heft and aesthetic appeal of metal materials. This unique art also boasts exceptional durability, withstanding sunlight and humidity, ensuring its charm can be appreciated for extended periods.

These art pieces are crafted using a detailed layering technique involving 32 layers of ink, resulting in a textured feel from the “slightly uneven” layers, adding depth to the artwork. The style is reminiscent of pop-art and aligns well with both Tite Kubo’s original manga and the widely acclaimed Thousand-Year Blood War adaptation, which is approaching its end. Two artworks, labeled “KISEKI,” depict characters Ichigo and Uryū using a collage of images from the series. The metal canvas artwork comes with an authenticity certificate, making it an appealing chance to own unique BLEACH merchandise for the anime’s global fanbase. However, this art collection is currently exclusive to the United States.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War is available on Hulu and Disney+.
