It seemed like the series might fade away, but recently, Bleach has experienced a remarkable comeback.

At Jump Festa 2026, it was announced that the popular series Bleach is getting a new novel titled Don’t Bleach My Fist. The novel will be penned by Ryohgo Narita, known for his work on Baccano! and Durarara!! – so fans can expect a unique style. Details revealed at the event were limited to just the title and author.
It’s worth noting that a possible cover for the novel has appeared online, suggesting “Don’t Bleach My Fist” will reimagine the story with Ichigo and the other characters as high school students. This will offer a fresh take on the fantasy manga. While the release date isn’t confirmed, late 2026 seems likely, particularly around the time the last part of the “Thousand Year Blood War” arc is released.
Bleach Also Announced A New Anime
Alongside the new book, fans can also anticipate an anime series called Bleach ‘The Stories.’ This anime will explore the history of Bleach, starting from the very beginning. It’s divided into five sections, each launching in a different month.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc Cour 4 Will Release In July 2026
Bleach fans have one more thing to anticipate: the final part of the Thousand-Year Blood War story arc is scheduled to begin airing in July 2026, in addition to the projects recently announced.
The last part of the series will conclude the battle between Ichigo and the main villain. While other characters will still appear, their roles will be smaller during these final episodes.
