A fresh teaser is out now, offering a glimpse into some aspects and gameplay mechanics of the forthcoming brawler BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls, published by Bandai Namco. For enthusiasts excited to discover what’s ahead for this upcoming title, there are many exciting elements to scrutinize in the newly-released video.
Players can embark on Ichigo Kurosaki’s journey from the Substitute Soul Reaper Arc right up to the end of the Arrancar Arc. Furthermore, the Secret Story mode offers an immersive exploration of the main storyline from each character’s point of view, providing a richer and more intimate understanding of their individual narratives. Additionally, side episodes will provide insights into the daily lives of these characters in between their battles.
In BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls, the combat system primarily focuses on three key elements that shape the tactics used during battles. By employing Attack, Break, and Guard, players must identify and capitalize on their foes’ vulnerabilities while outsmarting and overwhelming their defense with clever and devastating maneuvers. Maintaining distance and reactively countering attacks will be crucial, but beware of the Awakening state. This state is triggered following sustained damage and can swiftly alter the course of battles, providing enhanced abilities, improved stats, and new moves like the potent Kikon technique.
In addition to the Story Mode, gamers can engage in combat with friends offline or opponents worldwide online through Battle Mode. Additionally, Mission Mode offers players predefined challenges within BLEACH Rebirth of Souls. The highly anticipated BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is scheduled for release on March 21 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
