Recently, there’s been a lot of talk about Bloodborne, especially after PlayStation closed Bluepoint Games β the studio many hoped would remake the game, potentially even instead of FromSoftware. This news has drawn attention away from a special in-game event called ‘Return to Yharnam’ for Bloodborne fans, which started on March 24th and ends on April 7th.
Each year, fans of Bloodborne come together for a big community event in the game’s world of Yharnam. While single-player games naturally see players move on over time, events like “Return to Yharnam” are a fantastic way to show continued support for a beloved game. Bloodborne remains incredibly popular and is considered a classic, and fans are eager for any future developments β participating in Return to Yharnam is a great way to demonstrate that demand.
Bloodborne’s Return to Yharnam Counter is Going
The Return to Yharnam event for Bloodborne is ending soon β there’s about a week left as of today. It might be a tight squeeze to finish the game in time, but the community is really rallying together! These events are all about welcoming back experienced players and helping newcomers, sparking discussions about the game’s lore and best strategies, and proving to FromSoftware that Bloodborne still has a dedicated fanbase. The event wraps up at 7 pm local time on April 7th.
The idea is simple: join in, enjoy yourself, and share your love for Bloodborne. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to challenging “Souls-like” games, the community is welcoming and happy to help. You can continue with an existing character or start a fresh one. The event is all about revisiting the game and playing with others β and that includes the Old Hunters DLC! While the DLC isn’t necessary, feel free to play through it with the group if you have it.

The Return to Yharnam event in Bloodborne offers a mix of activities. Experienced players often team up with newcomers for cooperative gameplay, but many are also revisiting the player-versus-player (PvP) scene. To participate in PvP, players need to buy and use the Sinister Resonant Bell. During the event, the Nightmare Frontier is the most popular spot for these player battles, essentially acting as a dedicated PvP arena.
With only a week left, players who haven’t revisited Yharnam β even for a short time β should do so now. While Bloodborne still has a dedicated player base after all this time, it’s becoming harder to find others online. Right now, though, Yharnam is full of Hunters, and everyone β both new and experienced players β is welcome to join the hunt.
