The narrative in “Blue Box” revolves around Taiki Inomata, a student at Eimei Junior and Senior High School who is part of the boys’ badminton team and harbors feelings for Chinatsu Kano, an up-and-coming member of the girls’ basketball team. Together, they train diligently in the school gym before sunrise. However, Taiki’s world crumbles when he discovers that Chinatsu is about to relocate overseas due to her parents finding work abroad. Fortunately, it transpires that she will stay with some family friends and persist in her ambition to lead her team towards the Nationals.

Taiki chooses not to express his affection for Chinatsu until he’s equally committed to excelling in badminton, aiming for Nationals. This path promises challenges, but it’s the one he must take before sharing his feelings with her. The main cast includes Reina Ueda as Chinatsu Kano, Shōya Chiba as Taiki Inomata, Akari Kitō as Hina Chōno, and Chiaki Kobayashi as Kyō Kasahara. As of now, no official channels have announced the news of the novel adaptation; however, the first volume of “Blue Box” is scheduled for release on December 4.
