In Arc Raiders, the best loot – things like weapon blueprints and powerful items such as the Snap Hook or weapon modifications – is often found in locked rooms. While you can find these items in other places, you’re much more likely to get them by unlocking these special rooms.

While finding keys in Arc Raiders is mostly luck-based, there are certain areas where players are more likely to discover them. The Blue Gate Cellar Key, for example, can only unlock the Blue Gate, and no special requirements change that. This guide details possible locations to find the key and where to use it within the game.

Where to Find the Blue Gate Cellar Key in Arc Raiders

Finding keys in the game is entirely based on luck. However, the best places to look are the Commercial and Residential buildings. Any map with lots of buildings containing drawers and cabinets to search is perfect for farming keys.

Good places to play for better loot include Village on the Blue Gate map, or Pale Apartments and Ruby Residence in Dam Battlegrounds. To get even rarer items, try playing during a night raid or an Electromagnetic Storm, and be sure to bring a Looting Kit with you.

If you find a rare key, be careful when using it! There’s a strong chance enemies will attack while you’re opening the door and steal anything valuable you get. That’s why it’s important to be well-prepared with good weapons and enough space to carry loot.

Where to Use the Blue Gate Cellar Key in Arc Raiders

After you get the Blue Gate Cellar Key, start a new game on the Blue Gate map and head to the Olive Garden area. Here, you can find trees that give you Olives, Apricots, and Lemons – items you’ll need to improve your gear. Just south of the Olive Garden label on the map, you’ll see a small, locked cellar door.

Use the key to open the door and reveal a ladder leading downwards. Once used on the door, the key disappears and can’t be used again. Down below, you’ll find several cabinets to search, and you might even discover a weapon case containing a powerful weapon.

Before going down into the Cellar, it’s smart to place a Noisemaker or Mine at the entrance. This will warn you if other players are approaching, even if they destroy it. Also, consider bringing Jolt and Explosive Mines with you – they can be very helpful.

The small cellar doesn’t have much loot, so don’t spend long there. If you think other players might arrive soon, place some mines at the bottom of the ladder. This will hurt and slow down anyone who tries to follow you, letting you escape quickly and safely.
