As a seasoned Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies player with countless hours under my belt and a deep love for this mode, I must say that the Jingle Hells Limited Time Mode left me feeling like a Christmas goose without stuffing – underwhelmed and disappointed.
The Jingle Hells LTM brought some festive cheer to BO6 Zombies through a Christmas-themed makeover for Liberty Falls, but the mode has failed to impress players.
The LTM, as its title implies, invites players to delve into a joyful rendition of Liberty Falls. Primarily, this entails aesthetic alterations such as wreaths adorning doors, roads glimmering with twinkling lights, snowmen dotting the landscape, and an abundance of Christmas trees in every corner.
Regarding new gameplay elements, the mode introduces a fresh Power Up titled ‘Naughty or Nice’ and an additional ‘Holiday Cheer’ GobbleGum. Slain zombies may now drop gifts containing assorted gear and equipment, the scarcity of which is determined by your luck. Additionally, the challenge level has been increased due to the absence of the Crafting Table and the Arsenal machine.
In essence, the majority of the fresh content has been covered, and it appears that visual modifications significantly exceed novel gameplay elements. This observation echoes the sentiments expressed by many players who’ve shared their dissatisfaction on Reddit regarding the Limited Time Mode (LTM).
Jingle Hells kinda sucks and should have just been a reskin of zombies on all 3 maps

User ‘DukeOfTheDodos’ shared an opinionated post about the new game mode. He found the aesthetics of Jingle Hells appealing, but the gameplay left much to be desired and he has no intention of playing it unless there’s a compelling reason to do so, rather than opting for a standard Liberty Balls match.
Many other users shared comparable sentiments in the comments, stating, “They resurfaced the circular tune from Cold War Jingle Hells in it. I felt quite let down when I gave it a try; it’s only slightly more challenging than Liberty Falls, with not much else changed.
Some players found themselves dissatisfied due to the absence of fresh incentives even though the level of challenge was increased, “To be honest, I think the newly introduced game mode is quite lackluster. It seems there are no rewards for finishing tasks under tough conditions at all. Not even calling cards or bonus experience points.
I appreciate the map layout, but it can be frustrating when bad luck with power-ups leads to defeat, especially during high-value target fights for the EE. While I’m not new to the game, the experience just isn’t enjoyable for me currently.
As a gamer, I’ve been enjoying the festive vibe in Liberty Falls LTM, but it feels like a slightly redecorated version of the original map. If there were some unique rewards for playing this mode, it would definitely motivate me to keep coming back. Don’t get me wrong, the holiday decorations are a nice touch, but Zombies players like me seem to be missing that special hook with Jingle Hells that we found in the regular game.
