Bohemia Interactive Reveals Arma 4 is Coming 2027

As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that I’m both excited and disheartened by the news of Arma 4 coming in 2027. On one hand, it’s fantastic to know that the beloved tactical shooter franchise is evolving. But on the other hand, two more years feels like an eternity in gaming time! I remember when we used to wait for games to come out, not announcements about games coming out in four years!

At Bohemia Interactive‘s 25-year anniversary event, they announced that Arma 4 will be released in 2027. Since the debut of Arma 3, the team has consistently updated and expanded the game. It is one of the most cherished tactical shooter series, and in 2027, it’s set to advance or grow further.

Long Time To Wait

Bohemia Interactive has followed in Bethesda Game Studios’ footsteps and unveiled a game well ahead of its scheduled release, much like the Elder Scrolls VI teaser. Just as you might recall the Elder Scrolls VI trailer, Bohemia showcased the Arma 4 logo over a scenic backdrop in a similar manner.

The significant part occurs towards the end of a two-hour orchestral performance, held as a tribute to mark Bohemia’s 25 years.

Lucky for you, Arma 3 seems hardly any older than its release date, meaning there’s still lots to explore in that game until Arma 4 comes out in 2027, keeping you engaged all this time.

Approximately two years ago, Bohemia Interactive announced they were developing Arma 4, and shortly after, they released Arma Reforger as a test of their new engine. Modifiers enthusiastically took advantage of this platform. Now that the foundation has been set, there’s even a release window for Arma 4, although it’s quite broad.
