In contrast to typical character cosmetics, the fresh skins and heads from the Borderlands series in Borderlands 3 can be worn by any of the game’s four playable characters.

Moxxi is drawing attention with her latest collection of skins, but it’s a mixed blessing. On one side, it’s great to see a beloved character like Moxxi getting more attention in any form. However, many players believe she deserves more – perhaps as an independent weapon maker or a playable character in future Borderlands games. While these cosmetics are a positive move, they represent only one step towards this goal. There’s still a wealth of potential for Moxxi in upcoming games, and hopefully, the popularity shown by these cosmetics will lead to even more opportunities for fans to enjoy her character.

For both Fran and Octavio, it’s delightful to observe that characters from the spin-off series “New Tales From the Borderlands” are now making appearances in the primary “Borderlands” franchise. However, it feels odd to notice that numerous recurring characters have not been given their own cosmetic items like Anu, who alongside Fran and Octavio, is one of the playable characters in the game.

In the game Borderlands 3, it’s been reported that some fresh cosmetics are generating buzz for the upcoming Borderlands film. This could be why these cosmetics seem to be modeled after certain characters from the series. However, fans have noticed that several beloved Borderlands franchise characters like Claptrap, Krieg, Roland, Tannis, and Tiny Tina are absent in this new set. Could it be a hint that future Borderlands games will honor these characters more? Despite this, everyone agrees that receiving free cosmetics is worth celebrating, especially for longtime fans and those eagerly awaiting the movie.
