In mid-October 2025, Borderlands 4 players can redeem six new SHiFT codes. These codes, available until October 15th, bring the total number of active codes for the game to over ten.
Gearbox has been sharing SHiFT codes for over 13 years, and they’re still at it! Since the successful launch of *Borderlands 4* in September, they’ve been giving out codes even more often, using them to promote the new game and keep players interested.
Borderlands 4 Gets 6 New Limited-Time SHiFT Codes
More free rewards are available for *Borderlands 4* players! Six new SHiFT codes were released in October 2025, each giving you a Golden Key. These keys unlock special loot chests in the game’s main towns: Belton’s Bore, Carcadia, The Lockaway, and The Launchpad. Three of the codes will expire on October 13th, while the other three will remain active for a few extra days.

You can use the same code multiple times to redeem it on different platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live.
Three active SHiFT codes for *Borderlands 4* were initially set to expire on October 11th, but Game Rant has confirmed they are still working as of October 12th. Gearbox doesn’t usually extend code validity, but sometimes does, often for an extra two days.
You can use the promo codes by signing into your SHiFT account at shift.gearboxsoftware.com/rewards. The system doesn’t check if you own the game, so you can redeem codes even if you haven’t bought *Borderlands 4* yet. If you do buy the game later, your rewards will be ready for you. These codes work on Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation, and Xbox, but you’ll need to enter them separately on each platform.
Good news for *Borderlands* fans! The Amon skin, part of the “Cult Classic” collection for *Borderlands 4*, is still available. You can get it using the code JZ6BJ-SBR5J-WF3BK-BT3BB-TX9HB – and it won’t expire until the end of 2030! Right now, you can also unlock the Break Free Cosmetic Pack with code JS63J-JSCWJ-CFTBW-3TJ3J-WJS5R, and the “Savings Savior” Rafa skin with TZXT3-XJXCB-CXBJW-BTTJT-9SK6B. Considering how often Gearbox offers promotions like these, expect to see more free items become available before 2026.
