Borderlands 4 Players Have Until November 11 to Claim New Shift Code

Around the Kairos area in Borderlands 4, you can find four Golden Chests that require Golden Keys to open. These keys are earned by using SHiFT codes – a long-standing system Gearbox uses to give players free in-game items. Opening these chests usually gives you powerful Legendary weapons and gear, helping you quickly improve your character. Some players prefer to save their Golden Keys for later, as they stay linked to your account once claimed.

The CEO of Gearbox recently shared a new Borderlands 4 SHiFT code on X (formerly Twitter): B9RJJ-B5W9J-5XTJ5-J333J-653CZ. Players can use this code on the SHiFT website or through the in-game SHiFT menu. This code is special because it gives players three Golden Keys, unlike many recent codes which only offered one. However, the code will expire on November 11th.

Gearbox has been consistently releasing new SHiFT codes since the launch of Borderlands 4, so if you miss one, don’t worry – another one will probably be available soon. Remember, while the codes themselves expire, the Golden Keys you get from them don’t. This means you can save up keys even while switching between characters in Borderlands 4, and then use them to get lots of great loot when you start a new character build.
