Borderlands 4 Players Have Until October 11 to Redeem 3 More Shift Codes

Players of Borderlands 4 can currently use three Shift codes to get special in-game items. These codes are only available until October 11th, and while new codes are released often, they don’t last long, so it’s best to redeem them now.

A huge part of what makes the Borderlands games popular is the massive number of weapons players can discover and use. While you can absolutely finish *Borderlands 4* with weapons you find during gameplay and from defeating bosses, Shift keys give you a chance to snag some really unique items with very little effort.

Borderlands 4 Releases Three New Shift Codes

Thanks to Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford, players have three new Shift codes available. They are: TZ6TT-FKBKB-W6T35-BTTB3-636SR, JH63B-S5TK3-KFJJC-BBB3T-5KR63, and T963J-TRBKB-56JBW-3BJBJ-ZZ3JR. Each code unlocks one Golden Key specifically for *Borderlands 4* and can’t be used in other games in the series. These codes will expire in 48 hours, so be sure to redeem them by approximately 3:32 PM PT on October 11th.

Redeeming Shift codes is easy, even if you’ve never done it before. You can do it either directly in the game or on the official Borderlands Shift website. In-game, go to the Shift menu and the Rewards tab to enter your code. If you prefer the website, just log in to your Gearbox account, go to the Rewards tab, and paste the code into the designated field. Once you redeem a code, you’ll receive a key in-game to open chests in Belton’s Bore, The Launchpad, Carcadia, or The Lockaway. Since Borderlands 4 is new, don’t worry if you miss a chance to get a key – Randy Pitchford shares new codes often, so there will be more opportunities. Just be aware that most codes only work for a limited time, so keep an eye out for announcements!

Players will likely appreciate these new Shift codes, especially since some of the most popular weapons from Borderlands 4 are currently unavailable. Originally, these weapons – like the Midnight Defiance sniper rifle and Forsaken Chaos shotgun – were only obtainable through Twitch Drops at the game’s launch, leaving players with no current way to get them. While the codes won’t unlock those specific weapons, players might find even better items by using a Golden Key to open a chest.
