Borderlands 4 Players Have Until October 20 to Redeem 3 More Shift Codes

Borderlands 4 is currently giving away 3 new SHiFT codes that players can use to get Golden Keys. If you play Borderlands 4 and want these rewards, be sure to redeem the codes before October 20th.

Collecting powerful weapons and gear is central to the *Borderlands 4* experience. Golden Keys, obtained through SHiFT codes, give players a chance to unlock highly sought-after Legendary weapons from special Golden Chests located in key areas like Belton’s Bore, Carcadia, The Lockaway, and The Launchpad. Players can connect their gaming account to the SHiFT website to enter these codes and receive Golden Keys directly into their game.

Randy Pitchford, CEO of Gearbox, has shared three new SHiFT codes on his X account: TZR3T-JZJKJ-WXJTC-T33TB-RFCFR, 3S6TT-CZJWT-WXJT5-3B3BJ-JS3JZ, and J96BJ-RZJWB-C6TJC-BBJJJ-5B5W9. These codes are valid for 48 hours after being posted around 2:09 PM PT on October 18th, meaning you must redeem them by October 20th. Each code gives you one Golden Key, which can unlock a Golden Chest in *Borderlands 4* once. These chests can contain multiple Legendary items.

It’s easy to use a SHiFT code if you’ve connected your gaming account to the redemption website. Just enter the code exactly as it appears—you can copy and paste it—and click “Check” to make sure it’s still good. If the code is valid, you’ll be asked to choose which platform you want the reward on. Then, when you open *Borderlands 4*, you should find the Golden Keys added to your inventory, displayed under the currency tab (marked with a dollar sign).

Golden Key codes, often called SHiFT codes, have always been popular with Borderlands players. Since the release of Borderlands 4, Gearbox and Pitchford have been giving away a lot of these keys, and players who didn’t redeem the October 20th codes shouldn’t worry – more are expected to be released in about a week.

Players can also earn special character skins by taking part in community challenges and redeeming SHiFT codes. Because the community has met previous challenge goals, skins for Rafa, Amon, and Vex are now available for free. Currently, a new challenge is underway: if players complete 350,000 contracts as a Vault Hunter by October 19th, everyone will unlock a SHiFT code for Harlowe’s Maliwannabee skin.
