Two new codes are now available in *Borderlands 4*, but players need to redeem them by September 18th. These codes give you two Golden Keys, which can be used to open special loot chests at Belton’s Bore, The Launchpad, Carcadia, and The Lockaway.
Players of *Borderlands 4* should watch out for SHiFT codes. These codes are usually released frequently both before and after a new game comes out.
Borderlands 4 Gets Two New SHiFT Codes
Randy Pitchford, CEO of Gearbox, has shared two new SHiFT codes for *Borderlands 4*. The codes – 3SR3J-CS63T-CFB3K-J3JTT-RZ5JR and 3SRBB-X9RBJ-CRTBW-3BBB3-KJFW6 – each give players one Golden Key. These codes will expire in 48 hours from when they were posted, giving players until around noon PT on September 18th to redeem them. You can add the codes to your account by logging into your Gearbox account on the official SHiFT site and entering them under the ‘Code Redemption’ section of the ‘Rewards’ tab. Keep in mind that these codes only work in *Borderlands 4* and won’t work in previous games in the series.

These promotional codes don’t last long, but you can still claim them even if you don’t own the game yet. If you have a Gearbox account from playing previous *Borderlands* games and plan to buy *Borderlands 4* eventually, it’s a good idea to redeem the code now. That way, the key will be ready and waiting when you start playing.
